Thanks Steve your an awesome author!!!!
Lots of excellent scenes with the characters doing what they do. Worth reading right now.

So now that that's out of the way... This book picks up straight after Sourcery Reborn. McHugh gets us straight into the action with minimal down time and keeps the pace fast throughout. There's no lull as can some times be found mid book. The cast is huge and I'm glad a glossary of characters was included although most characters are returning so it didn't get too confusing.
My only quibble is that early on in the book there was a plot twist that may be very slightly obvious. But I forgive it as it built into the story well.
The penultimate book in this saga doesn't disappoint and is probably the best one written by this author and is arguably the best book I've read so far this year.
I await the conclusion with impatience
The story gets better with each new book. There are many characters to love and hate, but it's always good to read Nate's adventures. No matter who interesting the others are - and they all are - Nate is key to this series in my opinion.
So much happens in this book it's hard to think what my favourite bits are, it felt like there was a major plot point going on in every chapter.
I really can't recommend this series enough - If you've read the others then you'll already be reading this anyway. If not, you've got a treat instore for you.
This one, without doubt, is the best so far.
An great tale - gripping from the start. The battles are epic, the humour well placed.
Read them all - you'll not be disappointed!
Looking forward to Book 3, whilst also wanting the adventure to never end!!
Nate is meant to be Death, one of the four horsemen. Has come back at the top of his game & his fights go the same way as before - very lame & frustrating at times. I think the author loved the A-Team back in the day as they had a similar theme!
I do question why am I still reading these books.
I like the characters, the earlier books for great but for the love of something holy, if your not enjoying writing these books Mr Author - don’t bother!
At least they are an easy read - plus I read two other books whilst reading this!
Just about to start Remy’s stand alone book - let’s see how that fairs ....
TWO & A HALF STARS
Love all the swear words that Remy invents, they make me chuckle and couldn't help but laugh over Mordred's torrent of abusive vocabulary at lancelot. :D
So sad as I now have to wait for the next, but most possibly, the last in this line of novels. I have really connected with this author and love how he has tied all of history into our world today.
These books are very well written, funny, tragic and required reading for any fans of urban fantasy. Well done, Steve McHugh, you’ve done it again.
