You need to read this with Tony Martin type voices to enable you to fully appreciate the characters. The book starts sedately then swiftly picks up speed as the characters all collide in a masterfully written, hilarious crescendo. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Nothing short of an amusing and skillfully strung together string of events. Tony encaptures the reader with strong links to reality in parts and how rumours cause harm. A funny and adventurous read from a talented author. Highly recommended especially for those that have read his other works.

I’d highly recommend this book to anyone wanting some light reading - holidays or bedtime. Or if you’re happy to laugh out loud on public transport on the way to work...

Kerfuffle calls out so much of the stupidity of public opinion forming in modern Australia without ever taking itself seriously.

A good fun yarnReviewed in the United States on 8 December 2017
This was a good romp through 2006 Melbourne; a basic disaster unravelling in a quiet Melbourne street. The characters were great except when they became obsessed with obscure movies and aspect ratios that didn’t quite fit their stations in life. One suspect this was the authors own deranged or optimistic view of their own future elderly existence.
