5.0 out of 5 stars Gets better and better 10 September 2015

I absolutely love this is fresh and exciting. There are some interesting developments in this book that just add more depth. The Norse myths is brought to life in an adventure you don't want to miss. Technical issue here...editing could stand a tweak...not enough to mar but enough to notice. I recommend this book and the series.

In "Dead Chaos," the world as Bryn knows it seems to be crashing down all around her, with her unable to stop it. She struggles with the loss of her wings, and on top of that, the gods keep up and disappearing: Loki has escaped from his brief capture, and Odin is seemingly no where to be found.

If that's not enough to demoralize the masses, the beginnings of Ragnarok are upon us. The tree of life seems to be dying at a startlingly fast rate, and it would appear that there is nothing to be done to stop its progress. When faced with all of this, what's a Valkyrie to do but to keep fighting?

I loved this third addition to the Valkyrie series. It was chop-full of love and loss, pain and perseverance, and most especially a courage and fortitude that would inspire and fortify the Asgardians for the battle to come.
4.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the first two.. 17 May 2015

This book was good, but it didn't have the same feel as the other books until close to the end..

I'm not really liking how fast Bryn went from being in love with Aiden to disliking him then jumping on the Josh train. That part was way too fast paced for me. It felt staged and rushed. I'm also pissed that Sigrun is gone... I'm excited to read the next book, but I hope it is not as rushed as this one felt.

5.0 out of 5 stars A saga worthy of Norse lore... 19 December 2015

The brilliance of telling a story was of paramount importance to the Vikings. I believe that this series of Valkyrie Novels reaches the same level.
An author that can engage you and keep you reading for hours is worth more than gold.
