My heart went out to Kristian's wife and children for the battle they also fought.
Made me think about whether I would do what he did would I be strong enough.
I found it a little too religious and did tend to flick through all the pages quoting passages from the bible
A truly good book but a very sad read
Days Like These will make the reader laugh, cry, and fight back. Kristian Anderson is a hero for all those who fight cancer. This book is brave, valiant, and clings close to scripture. It is about being a dedicated husband in the midst of the chaos. It is about being an inspiring dad when a son does not understand the severity of the situation.
Days Like These is about whana, family. It is the story of holding on and letting go. Holding on to the ones we love and letting go of the dreams that may never be and living in the moment. Days Like These inspires; it is the story of love pure, proven, and refined. A tale of leaning harder and deeper on the One who carries us. In the arms of Jesus, the victory is the Lord's alone.
Days Like These is the story of gratitude. Grateful for life, for love, and for a deeper relationship with the Lord. Mr. Anderson's story gives the glory to the One who fights the battle for us. Be strong and courageous. Again, an outstanding read.
I received this book free from Book Sneeze.
