Book Description

A charming new series and a classic whodunit set in the spectacular landscape of the Yorkshire Dales.

About the Author

Julia Chapman is the pseudonym of Julia Stagg. Julia currently lives in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales in the north of England. When not writing, she spends her time out in the hills, running on the fells that provide the beautiful setting for the Dales Detective novels, or riding her bike through the small hamlets and villages that are a vital part of her books.

Elizabeth Bower is an English actress, best-known for starring as Dr Melody Bell in Doctors from 2007 to 2009. In 2005 Bower starred in Channel 4's comedy sketch show Spoons, and then took a guest lead role in British crime drama Silent Witness as DCI Helen Radley. After starring in the television adaptation of the children's book drama series The New Worst Witch, Bower won the Edinburgh Fringe Report award for Best Actress: TV Drama and Comedy 2006.
