Good imagination, entertaining, would benefit from a competent editor.

3.0 out of 5 stars Would have benefited by some intelligent editing 12 April 2015
By Jacqui Marlin - Published on Amazon.com

The storylines in these books are pretty decent, but it was painful at times reading all of the errors. So many words were just omitted, or used completely incorrectly. The wrong homonyms were often used, and worse, similar words with opposite meanings crept into the writing. I don't recall any of the errors due to mis-typing. Almost all of them were either careless or a lack of understanding of language. One of the more recent examples was the use of the word "she" in place of "her. This occurred in the last chapter so it is fresh in my mind. Another thing that I found silly, was the authors obsession with describing the car is used in full detail. How many Times does one need to refer to the "hunter green Ford Explorer.?" I realize that the books were written for young adults, but that is even more reason that they should have been more properly edited. I stretched to give it three stars as probably only two and a half would have been more accurate. With good editing the books might have deserved four stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Stories, BUT 29 March 2015

None of the stories go together, just a bunch of unrelated incomplete stories. Good stories, if I want to fork out big bucks for the rest of the story, not worth it.

1.0 out of 5 stars One Star 5 June 2015

Very disappointed. It's also pieces of stories, not even the full stories.

1.0 out of 5 stars What a bad nightmare of reading! 11 April 2015
By Joanne Chase - Published on Amazon.com

This is not a 7 book completion. It is a collection of half baked stories. Some repeat in small chapters. Then, you get to The Final Story, that goes on and on. I did not like this book.

2.0 out of 5 stars No Endings, No Satisfactory Conclusions 20 July 2015
By Steve C. - Published on Amazon.com

I will pass on reviewing the writing and get down to the meat of what these books are. They are meant to whet our appetites so we buy the next book in the series. Frankly, I prefer standalone books that bring stories to climaxes, followed by denouements that answer questions, which are followed by endings that allow readers to imagine where the stories go next. These books are a case where the authors have not planned any immediate conclusions to the stories, so we trudge along during the rising action where the books end, and we are left with the options of either buying the next books or moving on to something else. I am moving on.
