I did enjoy reading the book, although it is not one of Janet Chapmans better offerings!
The story commences 18 months prior to the book, when Willow and Duncan first meet. Although you don't need to read The Seductive Imposter to follow the story.
Duncan was a "soldier of fortune" who has settled down and is just waiting for his woman - Willow - to finally accept she needs him.
Willow is cautious with her emotions, and although she does know she needs and wants Duncan in her life she will not easily accept this.
They - and the rest of the team and inhabitants of Puffin Harbour - become involved in an attempted cover up of environmental waste.
It is a readable book, and does give some closure for other members of the team also.
