BOOK DESCRIPTION

Jared Hartley is happy. He has a starring role in a popular West End musical, great friends, adoring fans and his own flat in Central London. A relationship is not something he has ever really wanted. Making big plans for the future is not in his nature – Jared is content with his single status and enjoying all the benefits of that lifestyle.
He doesn’t even realise something is missing in his life.
Until he meets Fenix.

Fenix Bergman has a dream – to perform on Broadway. When he gets offered the lead role in Poison – a new musical based in London, he accepts, immediately recognising the huge potential of the show.

Fenix thinks he has his life completely figured out – he will move to London, help Poison become the new West End hit and bide his time until Broadway comes knocking on his door. He has never wished for anything else but proving to himself and the world that he is a performer worthy of the biggest theatre stage.
Until he meets Jared.

Jared and Fenix’s lives collide and they fill each other’s missing pieces. Neither of them expects to feel so much, so fast for the other.

Neither of them expects to need someone so badly when love hasn’t even been in their plans.

But when Fenix’s star becomes too bright for London, will the dream he’s chased all his life ruin the dream he’s holding in his hands?

Will he survive getting everything he’s ever wanted?

Will Jared?

REVIEWS

This book is M/M, which is not my normal genre, but even so, she managed to make me feel for the characters and root for their happy ending. Dance is the story of two lovers following their dreams and risking everything to find out what truly makes them happy.
It's a wonderful love story full of happiness, hope, wonder and amazement, as well as heartache, despair, desperation and forgiveness. It is a passionate story about taking chances and finding out what truly makes you happy. ~ Kellee Fabre

As you start Dance, you immediately meet Fenix. I absolutely love the name and he is such a sensational character. He draws you in to his life; feeling his passions and desires. He is full of life and ambition...you instantly feel the pull to root for everything he does.
But, then, in walks Jared and we get to hear all about him from Fenix. And you just know that it is going to get HOT!!!
And let me tell you..it gets SCORCHING HOT!!! ~ Kathryn Grimes

Dance, by Teodora Kostova, is the author's first venture into the realm of the MM genre. It can be quite scary for an author to cross-over to the MM side for many have failed, and some just succeed in a so-so manner. With this work, the author has proven to the lovers of the MM genre that her talent is in the telling of the tale and it knows no boundaries. Bravo. ~ Johanna P

WOW! I cannot recommend this book enough. What a wonderful story about love and friendship. I was hooked from chapter one. Sometimes I hate how books give so much background before they get to the heart of the story, and I LOVED that this book jumped right in. We still got background, just as needed. I love Fenix and Jared. The author gave us a complete story that filled my heart. I can't wait to read Adam's story! Read this book NOW! ~ Jennifer Santa

Beautiful! Just beautiful. I am not typically a fan of M/M. I
really wasn't sure what to think before I started. And then I got sucked in.
It is the story of two amazing people and the beauty of a love that knows no limits.
A love that is battered and bruised and yet emerges the winner in the end. ~ Veronica Bates

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!!! 26 March 2014

I just finished reading Dance for the second time (yes, you read that correctly) and I LOVE it. Teodora has given the reader a wonderfully written story that warmed my heart and left me begging for more. Yes, I want Adam's story NOW!
This is the story of Jared and Fenix and is wonderfully told by dual POV which I adore. I have read M/M before and this is my favorite. Even if you don't think you will like it, try it. She makes you fall in love with them and has you wanting to be their friend and you don't care if they are a two men, two women or two unicorns. It is a realistic portrayal of a love story where sometimes hard decision must be made no matter how badly it hurts. I love that they want the best for each other and truly care for the others happiness. I loved that it didn't take her 10 chapters to set us up for the heart of the story. Teodora gave us what we needed to know then took us to the world of Dance. Mild spoiler....... the reader will be very happy with the ending and it is a complete story, but she leaves room for more books where I hope I get to peek more in to the lives of Fenix and Jared while she introduces us more to other characters. I sincerely hope I am allowed an early copy of the next book also! My parting advice....JUST BUY THE BOOK, you wont regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Captivating story 28 March 2014

The cover for Dance captured my attention when browsing for new books. After downloading the sample of the book I couldn't resist purchasing the Kindle version currently available at the .99 pricing by author through Amazon.com. I totally loved this storyline and Fenix and Jared's relationship held me transfixed until I finished the book. I also will be looking forward to seeing if there will be an Adam and Penn story published just like another reviewer previously posted was wishing for.

The Kindle download version of this story had very minor editing issues; however, this is a new author for me so I wasn't certain if the wording "trashing" should have been "thrashing" throughout the story. I know when I read other books converted with software there are way more issues with "his" and "this" in the wording. Also the first "Stockholm" is spelled "Stokholm".

5.0 out of 5 stars I understand that this is the author’s first book in the MM genre. Please don’t let it be the last! 26 March 2014

This is the first novel I have read by Teodora Kostova. It was truly a wonderful book! I couldn’t put it down. I am an avid reader of MM romance novels. There are too many books being published with no plot and undeveloped characters. That is certainly not the case with this book. This author’s characters are moving, lovable and believable. I enjoyed every moment of their love story. I hope there will be follow-up story for Adam. Please, please, please!!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Well-Worth All Five Stars 15 May 2014
By Alan Arthur Katz - Published on Amazon.com

An easy five-star review because Ms. Kostova is a heck of a good writer, and the writing in this book is excellent. People, places, dialogue, flow - all of it is well-balanced and subtle enough to be evocative. It's a great book to read in one sitting, cover-to-cover.

My only complaint is that, right after Jared meets Fenix, their love blossoms in sex scene after sex scene. The scenes were good, no neuroses plumbed, and sometimes they were actually hot - what do you expect, what with a well-built actor (Jared) and a hot-as-hell dancer (and singer), Fenix. But there were just too many. I became afraid that I'd mistakenly bought an erotic novel devoid of plot. But no, Ms. Kostova regained her balance and brought me right along with her two engaging main characters.

They meet. Love at first sight (yes, it sometimes does really happen - it's happened to me, and of all the ironies, he was a professional dancer, as well!). Live together. Thrive in their careers on the London stage until Fenix's play gets moved to Broadway, including its star. Which leaves Jared high-and-dry. He doesn't want to move with Fenix because his own career in London is taking off.

Two years of separation ensue, and they are hell for both of them. Even when Fenix wins the highest awards in his metier and plays to sold-out crowds, he finds it hard to continue working, or even living, without Jared. They both made a terrible mistake opting for their careers over their love.

This is, after all, a romance novel, so Ms. Kostova spends most of the rest of the book getting them back together for their well-earned, and long-delayed, HEA.

It's a journey worth taking with the talented Ms. Kostova, and I dare you to read the ending without a tear in your eye.

I recommend "Dance" most highly!
4.0 out of 5 stars Loved the story, but disliked the ending 14 April 2014
By Sleeping Life - Published on Amazon.com

I am compelled to write this review, otherwise this is going to bug more for days. While this story was engaging, well written and I even cried at times. I just don't feel that it's the right ending for this book and can't give it a 5 stars. (I reserve 5 stars for the very few exceptional books I see.) The main other problem I saw, was I found the first two chapters of this book stilted and not very engaging, and I almost didn't buy it. But the writing gets better once the authors starts telling the story instead of feeding the reader with back story. By the middle of the book I feel was in love right along with Fenix & Jared and the book has me crying when the inevitable happens and Fenix's show gets moved to Broadway.

The ending seems to come out of some formula for how to write a romance novel, and I can see why many women would like it. These two do deserve a HEA ending but this particular ending seemed out of character and not really suitable to the personalities of Fenix and Jared. (I am trying to avoid spoilers here.) The author never even hinted that the ending was something these two wanted out of life, until a few chapters from the end Felix brought it up and they both agreed with little fanfare. I would have thought these two would have wanted to do something more creative, and could have found a way to keep performing & dancing. A big deal was made that both Fenix & Jared wrote material for the shows they were in. I would have loved to see these two create their own small show, and have them take it on the road.

Last I find it odd that there was no mention of any of their friends during the last chapters. I am hopeful it's because the author is planning on writing Adam's story and we will hear more at that time.
