Product Description

EVEN THE BROKEN, THROUGH LOVE, CAN FIND GRACE...
Secrets never stay hidden.
The burden of guilt never lifts from the heart.

Born and raised in The Order of David, Sister Phebe knows nothing but cult life. Head of the Sacred Sisters of New Zion, Phebe was groomed from childhood for one purpose: to seduce. Prized as a harlot, as a New Zion whore, Phebe is taken from the doomed cult by Meister, the notorious leader of the Aryan Brotherhood. Taken as his possession. Taken to be the woman who will obey his every sexual demand. Under his heavy hand, Phebe finds herself in a place much worse than she could ever have imagined... with absolutely no one to help. And no glimpse of hope.

Xavier ‘AK’ Deyes is content with his life as Sergeant-At-Arms of the Hades Hangmen. Leader of the infamous ‘Psycho Trio’ and ex-special ops sniper, AK knows how to fight. Experienced in warfare and schooled in military operations, AK is vital to the Hangmen. When his Vice President needs help retrieving his missing sister-in-law, Phebe, from a Klan-funded trafficking ring, AK volunteers to go in. AK remembers the red-head from New Zion. Remembers everything about her from the single time they met—her red hair, blue eyes and freckled face. But when he finds her, heavily drugged and under Meister’s control, her sorry condition causes him to remember more than the beautiful woman he once tied to a tree. Saving Phebe forces hidden demons from his past to return. A past he can never move on from, no matter how hard he tries.

As AK fights to help Phebe, and in turn she strives to help him, they realize their secret sins will never leave them alone. Kindred broken souls, they realize the only way they can be rid of their ghosts is to face them together and try to find peace.

Despair soon turns to hope, and damaged hearts soon start to heal. But when their deep, painful scars resurface, becoming too much to bear, the time comes when they must make a heavy choice: stay forever damned; or together, find grace.
Dark Contemporary Romance. Contains explicit sexual situations, violence, disturbingly sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language and very mature topics. Recommended for age 18 and over.
***NOT a standalone. MUST be read as part of The Hades Hangmen Series***

This review is not going to include spoilers or anything of a sort. Get ready to watch the ride of Phebe and AK. These two are broken and have damaged souls and have demons that they need to face head on and put to rest once and for all.

Let the crazy ride begin!

damnable grace might have been the fastest book that I've read. One minute I just started the book and the nerves were kicking in and then the next I saw the words THE END. I've never wanted to read a book so much then I have wanted to for this book.

I still cannot get over everything that has happened. Let me just say that AK and Phebe have become my favourite couple. They are perfectly suited and when they are together you can't help but smile with happiness. The connection that these two share is so powerful , I haven't seen anything like it in this series yet.

There are so so many twists and turns that will leave your heart thumping at a crazy speed and leaving you with your mouth agape in shock.

This book definitely had the emotions on full charge. There won't be an emotion left that you haven't felt inside your body. The amount of times I teared up and let the tears run free was crazy. The storyline for AK and Phebe is one that you will remember and one you will never forget.

The thing that I loved the most was seeing the psycho trio back in action and together. In this book we see the connection that these boys have and it's one powerful thing that cannot be broken.
Viking Viking Viking , he is the most funniest bloke out, he is full of laughs and full of mischief. I cannot wait to see what women pins him down and see him fall in love. That is one thing I am most looking forward to.

***5 ‘Chase the Sunrise’ Stars***

Holy. H#ll. (Understatement of the year)

This book will rip you to shreds and make you bleed and want to make others bleed, numerous times, and then it will slowly start to stitch you back up with the help of a sweet, Hangmen style sweet (let’s not get sh$te twisted ~ this is a Tillie Cole dark romance now), romance and the Hangmen and their women.

GAH. Where to start? What to say? What not to say? So bl$%dy difficult, but it must get done.

I ended up adoring AK and Phebe. AK may be one of The Psycho Trio, but as we all know what’s on the surface doesn’t always match what is going on inside and AK has a lot going on inside and it made me bleed for him and yet admire him even more. Finding out about his past and seeing how it shaped him into one of the few people in the universe that has the ability to reign in Vike and Flame brought out all the feels. I bled for Phebe. Everything that she was put through by the Order and Meister was simply brutal. But to watch as she clawed her way out showed just how strong she was. Their journey is brutal on so many levels, but as they continued to collide all I could see was how perfect they were for each other. They tore each other apart and then helped each other heal and grow stronger than they ever were before.

And as for the rest of the Hangmen and their women that we’ve come to know and love ~ there is no skimping on all that goodness. Viking, Flame and even Lil Ash are front and center in this journey and if you didn’t love them before, you will now. Though Viking...that man...I just...when he finally gets a book we’re all in for a h/ll of a ride. We also get to hang out with a few of the other brothers that haven’t had too much page time and I seriously want more. And for those who want to know, Rider is in this one and I still have nothin’ but love the man.

I think I’ve said this in every review I’ve done for a Tillie Cole dark romance, the woman goes big. This is balls to the wall, no apologies given, in your face reading. There is no sugarcoating anything, not the dark and not the sweet ~ and, yes there is sweet mixed in. So if you have triggers then move right on past these books, though I will say you are missing out on one of the best dark romances out there. But if not, or you want to give it a go, then don’t start with this one. Go back to It Ain’t Me, Babe to get the full experience and for the love all that is holy do NOT skip Deep Redemption. Don’t do it. You’ll be sorry. It’s an amazing read and, as far as I’m concerned, must be read to truly understand all that goes on in this one. We get a few teases as to what will possibly be coming next for the Hangmen and I cannot wait to see where Ms. Cole will be taking us next!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Walk Into The Sunrise 18 April 2017
By Dana Hoffman - Published on Amazon.com

I really thought that Rider's book had left me speechless because I couldn't imagine how he was going to get a happy ending out of the mess he had gotten himself into. But Phebe and AK's story left me in awe, heartbroken, shocked, just all over the place, to say the least. I literally held my breath a few times. And quite a few times, had I been reading a paper copy, I would have slapped it shut and yelled at it "this is not happening!!!! No, no, no!!!" I yelled at my iPad too, but it didn't have the same effect lol

With each book in this series, you think it cannot get any worse when you read what these poor girls go through. And then we get to Phebe. Poor Phebe. She definitely got the worst of it all, and she felt that's how she was paying for believing in a false cause which had destroyed her and her sisters' lives.

Then we have AK. Talk about a tortured soul. Definitely not as tortured as Flame's, who can even compete with that, but tortured none the less. Phebe becomes his salvation in a very dark world, helps him come to terms with the past and look towards their "sunrise" together. He helps her find her place in a world she does not know and where she needs to learn to forgive herself for her past life over which she had had no control.

We also get a glimpse into Flame's life, and especially into Flame's head. He broke my heart again. All I was thinking was "Maddiiiieeeee!!!!" Seeing Flame suffering for his best friend was just so amazing to witness, I felt like I was right there with him. I would have totally given him a hug had I not thought he'd stab me in the eyeball 👀

I cannot wait to read Styx and Mae's novella next. And the next full length novel in the series cannot come soon enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars AK and Phebe Have my Heart! 19 April 2017
By Jazmyne - Published on Amazon.com

“What do you recognize in my eyes?” I asked, my blood draining from my face. My palms started seating, and my fingers shook, the ash from my smoke falling onto my jeans. “Someone searching for grace.” Phebe laughed a laugh that held not one bit of humor. “Strangers to our kind of pain, people who have yet to be thrown onto the same rocky road, will not recognize you as a fellow traveler, desperately seeking what lies at the end of the path.” She took a deep breath. “Forgiveness. But those of us who have already been walking the road for miles will see you. We will see within you a kindred spirit.”
The Hades Hangmen series has been one of much controversy since the start. There is a lot going on in this series which can be viewed as immoral or just downright terrible. I can absolutely see where this view comes from, but these people are making this moral statement based on them living in their comfortable lives. Not many of us can understand what it’s like to be in a situation such as those characters have lived in these stories. So, for that, I try to simply understand the characters and in that I’ve come to thoroughly love this series.
AK is a man who has seen a lot. The way he lives his life is directly reflected from the atrocities he has seen and experienced. Although a tough, and seemingly unfeeling man, he has a lot of morals directed in the right way. Because of this, he ends up in direct line to oppose Meister and his followers. This leads him right back to Phebe, a woman who is often plaguing his thoughts.
Phebe has led her whole life in service to men. Never has she felt a breath of freedom, and so many moments she has had her choices taken from her. Daily, Phebe was plagued with so many regrets and worries from the many times men have taken control of her life.
This story gave me so many feels. AK and Phebe have commonalities that I was genuinely surprised to see. When they began talking about what they’d been through, how their lives affected others, and all of their regrets … I found myself bawling. My heart has not hurt this much for a long time while reading a story. So many secrets weave through the lives of these characters, that it’s hard to know where one ends and truth begins. At every turn I felt myself losing more and more of my heart to this story.
I don’t want to give anything away. There are some big secrets that truly make this story one that called to my heart. Hold true to the warnings, though. There are a lot of very dark, disturbing, and explicit subjects discussed throughout the book. But within this darkness, there is so much loyalty, love, and devotion. It proves that there truly can be beauty in pain.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5+ GRACEFUL STARS! 22 April 2017

Wow! Just wow. I really have no words after reading this beautiful book. Just when I thought Tillie Cole couldn't surprise me anymore, she blows me away!! This series gets better and better with each book she writes, and I'm telling the absolute truth.

Damnable Grace touched my inner being. AK and Phebe were kindred spirits meant to find one another. They're two broken souls who saved one another from their very own darkness. I loved everything about this book, from exploring their pasts to getting a closer look at how the Psycho Trio was formed. I just loved having a piece of each of the characters and you guys-OMGG Lil' Ash, I just about died. I cannot wait for his book!

Damnable Grace has jumped to my favorite book of the series. AK has a special place in my heart along with my Flame. Bottom line, no bull-crap at all. This book was everything. It was dark. Intense. Gritty. Real. Suspenseful. Heartbreaking and truly special.
5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read for Hades Hangmen and Dark Romance Fans 20 April 2017

So getting to review this for Tillie Cole came as a little bit of a surprise. I had signed up for the review tour and didn't make the cut, such as the life of a book blogger goes, but then unexpectedly more review copies were released and here I am. That moment of 'Oh, my Gaaaaaaa....I have an early copy Damnable Grace in my hands!' lead to a lot of yelling and then total immersion into the story which then lead me into this horrible book funk I find myself in now. What is there to say about this book except it will take over your world for however long it takes you to read it (for me that was a day because I couldn't put it down (unless forced to feed my children or whatever, damn them. *wink*) and it is going to tear you up and spit you out all raw and vulnerable, completely satisfied and more than ready for the next book.

Now honestly writing this review is terribly hard because for one I myself hate spoilers and for two, Tillie Cole has been very specific in asking that reviewers not spoil the book for readers and while I wouldn't do that anyway I am left a little bereft in what to say because this book is one gigantic spoiler. There is SO much that goes on in this story, so many pieces that are revealed, so many new stories begun and old ones wrapped up.

So here is what I can say. This is one hell of an emotional read. Yes, all the Hangmen books can be be as difficult emotionally to read as they are swoon worthy, and beautiful. Damnable Grace has taken that to an entire new level though. I have seen many people say that this is the best of all the Hangmen books and while I don't totally agree, I think that Flame and Maddie from Souls Unfractured will always hold a special place in my heart for that title, I can absolutely see why this is being shouted from the roof tops by most Hades Hangmen fans. There is simply just something so devastatingly heartbreaking and beautifully hopeful about AK and Phebe. There story is one that will burrow deep into your soul and settle there like the coziest blanket you can imagine. Of course every now and again some jerk, mainly one named Meister, is going to come rip it off the top of you and leave your body exposed to the harshest elements nature has to offer, cutting off your ability to breathe, but then almost miraculously you will snuggle back down in your warm den of comfort, sweet oxygen will refill your lungs and your heart will beat again. Damnable Grace is a story about finding the grace in despair, finding hope when you feel it has abandoned you, finding love when your mind and heart tell you you are unlovable. It is a book about letting go of pain so you can find joy and seeing the beauty that surrounds you through the darkness that has been cloaking you.

You will love getting to know the 'Psycho Trio' better and you will fall more deeply in love with these three best friends who have become each others shield. They are not what society would consider good men but they were all brought to this moment in life in deeply challenging ways and they are more than you may have ever expected. We get glimpses of the rest of the Hangmen and it is nice to see how the couples that we have grown to love are doing as well as get hints as to what is coming next for this wild bunch of guys. This book is going to do more than just tug at your heart strings, it is going to try and rip them straight out of your chest so go in prepared and with lots of tissue. If you didn't notice the disclaimer at the top please note that this is a DARK book. If you have triggers for almost anything, please PLEASE consider that before you dive in. These books are difficult to read, there are more moments in Damnable Grace then in any other Hangmen book that left me in tears and/or cringing. This won't be easy to read but it will be worth every tear you shed and gasp you vocalize.

With that, if you are a tried and true Hangmen reader you will be in love with this story. If you are new to the Hades Hangmen world you MUST start this series at the beginning with It Ain't Me Babe otherwise you will be terribly lost and spoil a great deal if you go back to read from the start. This series is so worth every moment of pain it will cause in your chest so I hope that you will pick it up and give it a go. If you are a Dark Romance fan this series should be at the top of your MUST READ list!
