I bought two of these and use them pretty much every day, so they're very handy. Here are my thoughts on them:
* Very well made and sturdy. I'm trying to cut down on the use of plastic in my house so these come in handy. I have a water delivery service, and I keep the dispenser in the garage since I don't have room in my kitchen. I use these to fill up and transfer the water inside my house. They do that job admirably.
I really like the extra caps and I find the handle very useful when I store the bottles on the bottom drawer of my fridge. Makes it lots easier to pick them up.
Negatives: Really, only one, that that's the price. After I bought these, I compared them to the glass milk bottles I see at my local store that some smaller dairies use. They are the same bottle, though they don't have the plastic handle I like. Still, I can buy those, with the milk, for about $6.00 and a $2.00 deposit on the bottle. I drank the $6.00 milk, and now I have another bottle that only cost me $2.00. If you're like me and really like the bottles but can't justify the price, check out the dairy case of your store.
Tough Glass Bottle is great for water, milk, juices, as well as honey, maple syrup, cream kefir, kombucha and jam. Inert glass doesn't leach chemicals the way plastic does even with the most acidic contents. An extra lid is included with each bottle in case you lose one. Also includes a convenient carrying handle.
