Once on your bass especially a black bass you will be in awe, along with all who see it. Great sound, alot more mellow than that of the factory strings from Warwick on the Streamer 5. No color loss as of yet(1 month of mild use) and they stay in tune as well for extended play times. Worth the money!
I will tell you though, the strings are a bit tacky feeling, almost slightly rubberized. It caused me to get HUGE blisters under my calluses, which are 14 years old! The friction on these is INTENSE... but they look so cool I use them anyway haha. They sound just fine and they do draw a lot of attention.
The coating is NOT the same "coating" as like a phosphor bronze coated, like I said it's kind of rubbery, but it seems to be very durable. I haven't had green fingers or anything yet!
