The sauce was rich, and tasted pretty good. For myself, I'd add a few more ingredients as it makes for a decent base sauce. My young nephew liked it as it is.
I had used half the sauce heated in a pan for the first meal, and the other half added to the strained pasta. Then mixed through while back on the stove top. I did find the latter more flavoursome.
If you're looking for a quick meal for the kids, you can't go wrong with this sauce. And like I mentioned earlier, it's great as a base sauce. Something to build on for a more sophisticated palette.
I found this to be a great tasting sauce. Easy to stir through mince when cooking and the basil flavour isn't too overbearing. Great option for a quick and easy dinner.
