Product description

Product Description

This is book one in the Vengeance Duet and is categorized as romantic suspense, which include darker themes. Due to circumstances and content, this book should not be read by those under the age of 18.

A seemingly innocuous five letter word until you pull back the layers of its meaning.

Imprisoned in a small room within the walls of the Satan's Creed Motorcycle Club compound, Casey Richards struggles to survive the only life she was raised to know. Her mother, a club whore, and her father, an unknown outlaw she’s never met, Casey’s fate is all but sealed in the eyes of the club.

Foul. Unclean. Undesirable.

Trapped in a loveless marriage, and with no children of her own, Emilyn Carsen is the only living soul willing to fight for her niece, Casey. She’s all but given up on saving her until the one man she’s longed to see again unexpectedly finds his way back to town and into her life.

Sordid. Vile. Unscrupulous.

Max Taylor, former-biker of a disbanded MC, has been holding onto reasons to avoid coming back to the small town he grew up in. The same ghosts that drove him away eventually force Max to find his way back. Now that he's home, he may be Casey’s only chance for freedom.

Filthy. Hateful. Impure.

In order to get to Casey, Max must find a way to infiltrate the MC. Setting up a meet with Hoss, Satan's Creed’s President who’s known for his depravity as much as his double-crossing ways, it’s made clear that forming an alliance is going to be more of a challenge than he expected. Now he must prove his loyalty to the club and in doing so, he’s forced to get his hands…

Although this book has been divided into two parts, book one ends with a natural break in the story before heading into book two, which publishes late September 2015.

This is a gritty, dark and suspenseful read that will leave you begging for more. Max is what I like to call a nomad he calls no MC his home. He's in his hometown where tragedy struck and made him leave but now that he's back he ready to get down to business. That being, seeing what Emma wants. Emma was the kid sister of a girl he use to date but secretly he always wanted Emma he just never thought that he was good enough. Em as he likes to call her needs help trying to rescue her niece from Satan's Creed MC where she is being held in deplorable conditions. Max calls on some friends (who I can't wait to learn more about) to help him rescue a precious young girl who he affectionately calls "Monkey". A.C Bextor has a way in this book of pushing reader's limits, forcing them to see the dirty side of a MC while dangling them from the side, and just leaving you emotionally spent and highly heated as you wonder just WTF will happen next. This story will open your eyes and your heart to so many possibilities and hope that make you believe that even in your darkest days there's always light at the end of the tunnel.

I love love love AC's biker series but with this one she has taken it to a whole new level. With this book we get the evil and depraved side of an MC who care for nothing and no one and are totally above the law. We have Casey who may only be a child but she is so strong and Emma her aunt who is desperate to rescue her and Max he's Emma's not so secret crush from childhood, their tiptoeing around each other is like foreplay for them actually getting together. To get her back Max has to step into Satan's Creed MC and it's like a lIrving hell, they are lawless, masochists who enjoy the darker side of life and they live it to the full, there is only one member who I them had any kind of compassion, I hope I'm right about him time will tell in book 2.
