Product Description

Hackers can steal your money, control your car, access your secret files. What if one had a grip on your beating heart?

Whatever. Clint’s got his own problems. With his company in chaos, only a bottle of scotch tempers his misery. But his apathy will cost others their lives. A plea from the President of the United States doesn’t shake his despondence. Not even an ultimatum from Beth. With one of their own on the line, the Washington elite won’t let Clint rest until they get answers.

Will Clint rise above his mounting despair and help the CIA catch a cyber killer?

RECOMMENDED READING ORDER:

All my stories intersect, so your favorite characters in one novel may reappear in a completely different series. Mine is a single story world, where storylines and people cross into other lives. Consequently, my books could be read either by series or by the order in which they were written, so I’ve included both lists:

The Masters CIA Thriller Series
3 LIES
THE MASTERS’ KEY
DEAD STORM

The Cruise FBI Thriller Series
OCEAN OF FEAR
SPIDER GAMES
ECHOES FROM DEATH

The Fender Hacker Thriller Series
DARK POOL

By Publication Date:

3 LIES

DARK POOL

OCEAN OF FEAR

THE MASTERS’ KEY

DEAD STORM

SPIDER GAMES

ECHOES FROM DEATH

If you enjoy my work, please tell your friends and leave a review. Your good opinion matters to me and encourages other readers to try my novels. I’d consider it a favor.

All the best,

5.0 out of 5 stars Fast paced 31 August 2015

I just finished reading this book, the last of the trilogy. Most of my review covers the trilogy. This book is engaging and fast paced. The characters are both good and bad, there are even some amoral characters. It even has a romance. In other words, all things necessary for a great read. New characters are added and familiar ones return, mostly hoped for, but some like a bad penny. I highly recommend this book and the trilogy.
5.0 out of 5 stars If you liked the first two books, you will love this one. If you have not read the first two books, get crackin'. 25 August 2015

I was privileged to be a beta reader for this book and loved it. I thought it was the perfect story to continue the Master Series. All the characters we loved from the first two books, with all their strengths and weaknesses. All the characters we hated from the first two books. Plenty of action, character development, plot depth and Karma.
As soon as it was released, I bought a copy of the finished book. Thanks for another great story, Helen.

5.0 out of 5 stars DEAD STORM 1 September 2015
By ROBERT D. MANNING - Published on Amazon.com

This is the third book of The Masters series, and it did no disappoint. Fast moving plot. Great character development. Edge of your seat as were the previous installments. Hanson really knows how to hold the reader's interest. Without giving anything away, Dead Storm brings revelations to light that help explain incidents in the The Masters Key. The novel was almost impossible to put down (thankfully my Kindle has a night light). Can't wait for the next installment!
5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific end to the trilogy 27 April 2017

Great end to the trilogy. But the door is open for a 4th book and I hope Helen writes one.
4.0 out of 5 stars Central Intelligence Is A Misnomer 5 April 2016

It was really about a hundred pages short of what could be a great novel. Writers tend to focus on the CIA because of some misguided desire to align with Ian Fleming and Jean LeCarre. The mere whisper of the acronym for No Such Agency causes writers to intellectually shut down. They shouldn't. There is a story there.
