The story of Lila and Maddox part two.... What happens when your books all have HEA’s ?
Create several new dramas for the loved up couple in the follow up.
This book had two, both, in the end, weren’t THAT big a deal. Plus, a family tragedy created solely to brings Maddox back into the family fold, thus providing him with closure with his parents.
Overall this book was a fairly easy read with a few angsty, soap opera-esque moments.
There were parts in this book that were very hard for me to read (on a personal level) that revolved around the Mr Coulters illness so, I found myself skipping more a lot of those moments.
Also, after reading the first book knew that, with this one, I was going to be lots of sex.... AND there was.
I don’t have a problem with sex in novels but,...sometimes....it seems that they have been put in there as a plot deflection.
(I know, I know. A lots of reads will probably get off to these bits)
I mean seriously, these guys were at it like rabbit from the get go...Also did we need so many words being. defined. by. Periods. after. each.word. For emphasis?
Like a said it was okay, but I always new where this story was heading, even with all the obstacles that were put in their way.
