About the Author
Montague Rhodes James, OM, MA (August 1862-June 1936) published as M.R. James, was an English mediaeval scholar, provost first of King's College, Cambridge, then of Eton College. Curious Warnings is a stellar collection of M.R. James's ghost stories. Reinforced with updated story material, this latest installment of James's work stands alone; well worth the time as Dr. James's stories enjoy few equals in this narrow genre.
