Well-grounded thoughts are explained here in the most simple manner. That’s all one can say about this book. It is difficult to write a more objective review, because the impact the author will have on you will make you see life and its problems in a wise and practical way. The Cult of Dissatisfaction: Empowering Unhappy Professional Women To Make A Change is a wonderful read that will leave you feeling like a better person for having read it. It’s an impressive work from author Jacqui Brauman and I’ll certainly be looking forward to reading more from her in the future. A well deserved five stars from me.
I would highly recommend this insightful, perceptive and intuitive read.
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free
books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written woman’s self-help book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great woman’s self-help movie, college/other PP presentation, or better yet a mini TV series. It was just OK for me so I will rate it t 4/5 stars.

Jacqui is an attorney, who has worked for years in this male dominated work world. She is sharing her own observations on how women are required to "fit in." Living being surrounded by societal pressures, women's feeling of dissatisfaction gets amplified. They feel inadequate and not good enough. Even when they succeed, they feel guilty and experience imposter syndrome. The Cult of Dissatisfaction is a great reminder to refocus, try a different perspective and practice gratitude more.
