5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read - after reading it, I went and bought another book in the series. 8 May 2017

Here's what it's not - It is not a new alien world. Almost all of the book was while Erin was on the cruise ship.

Nase and Ware are interesting characters that compliment each other. One is quick to anger, quick to love, very ruled by his emotions. While the other one is in total control. (Most of the time) In a nude ship they feel right at home. In their world everyone is a nudest. OK - that was a bit extreme. The descriptions of the two men didn't describe extra hair, or very calloused feet... It just doesn't seem like everyone would be able to live naked without any issues. So I had to suspend my logical side. But what the heck - it is a romance. Now my next suspend your logic - that these two caring men didn't understand that pulling all her pheromones wouldn't hurt Erin. These pheromones are what makes a women attractive to men. OK - another suspend logic thing. Erin got over her anger too quickly.

So now you know the bad. The good is how Nase and Ware worked together. Erin slowly getting out of her shell. And Chad who is someone you really love to hate.

In the end:
Sex - Yes, well written, and menge with two hot guys
Plot - Excellent - but suspend logic a bit while reading.
Characters - perfect! I loved Ware and Nase - they had their faults but still easy to love them. Erin was amazing. The type of person that you cheer for. And Chad... Chad is a good bad guy.
Re-read - Yes. It's in my collections.
Overall - excellent, I wish the rules of the planet weren't so corny. But hey - it made things interesting!!!!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars No depth to characters or story - *Slight Spoiler Alert* 15 May 2017

I got this book on a whim, one because it was free and two because of all the good reviews. However I was very disappointed. I found the characters to be one dimensional and the dialogue was stilted and unnatural. Yes, Nase and Ware are from another planet but even Erin's part of the conversation didn't flow well. Of course, the vast majority of the book was sex related so perhaps that's why more attention wasn't paid to the nonsexual interactions. The author professes to provide eroticism with a good story but in my opinion the story part was lacking. I found Erin especially unbelievable.

SLIGHT SPOILER ALERT. I don't know if this truly qualifies as a spoiler as considering it is an erotic romance, you pretty much know they will end up together, but the plot device of having everyone in Erin's life be users who didn't care about her so she really had no reason for staying on Earth was ridiculous. Everyone, I mean everyone, her mother, sister, boss, friends, everyone was presented as a selfish non-caring person who used Erin for their own selfish purposes. I find that really hard to believe and even harder to believe that Erin, who is supposedly intelligent didn't see at least some of it until it was pushed in her face.

Yes, there are hot sex scenes but that was about it for me. I would much prefer a story with an emotional connection that leads to a physical one. For me, there was no emotional connection between the three main characters. If you filter to see the verified purchase reviews, there are more than a few five star ones, but the majority of the five and four star reviews are not verified purchases. Each to their own, but if you like some depth to your story and characters, I would recommend you take a pass on this one. I won't be reading the rest of the series.

3.0 out of 5 stars Eh 18 May 2017

I wasn't impressed by this story. In my opinion, there needs to be more movement to the story. It seems like the characters keep going over the same stuff. The story ends as a happy for now, but the story isn't over. Not really a cliffhanger, but not a completed storyline.
3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting idea, inconsistent writing 21 May 2017

Basing a realm on a human poet is an interesting idea. Unfortunately there were many inconsistencies in the writing (i.e.: not saying someone was safe, but having a promise of safety alluded to later), and the world wasn't adequately introduced to the reader. In other words, details that needed to be explained weren't, and it kept pulling me out of the story to try to figure out what was going on. Could have used a lot more beta readers in my opinion to iron out all the kinks and ensure the reader is along for the ride with the clearly passionate writer.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but left too many unanswered questions 20 May 2017

It's a good start to a series, but can't really stand alone satisfactorily because it leaves too many loose ends for me. It's got too much plot to be just a series of sex scenes, but not enough to leave me satisfied with the ending. I could love the male characters, but want to know even more about them. The entire thing just doesn't seem to have much depth to me and the sex isn't over the top enough to save it from being basically lackluster.
