Getting it all together... .. .Reviewed in the United States on 15 November 2018
Well I’ve known Deanna for many years and glad she took the time to share some of the great ideas that have illuminated her life. She is the genuine thing, cringingly transparent, and sweet as the morning dew. My grand mother would have said “If she says a chicken dips, you can check under her wing” (meaning for a tin of snuff.) This is important because the ideas, approaches and suggestions in this book are tried and true. Even if some might not be some folks cup of tea, you won’t know until you have at least thought about it, or even taken some out for a spin. Plus you get to share some parts of her amazing life. Peace... .. .

I enjoyed reading Deanna Nakosteen's book, "Creating Community Wherever You Are". I like the way she wove her life's story with her experiences living in an intentional community and how it changed her life for the better. She offers simple solutions at the end of each chapter and even if you are not interested in an intentional community, the book just might get you thinking about how you can create community-mindedness, caring and open to possibilities to any area of your life. I know it did for me.

Deanna shares a lifetime of knowledge and experience with great insight and compassion for our innate human need for community. In a world full of experiences of isolation and separation, she opens our hearts and minds to the possibilities for finding and creating community in so many areas of our lives. She presents gems of opportunities that already exist in our lives to connect with others. Inspiring ReadReviewed in the United States on 20 November 2018
This book is interesting and informative about intentional communities - both building and participating in. Written by a beautiful soul, it is a great reminder of the importance of community in our lives and the necessity of connection. As we rely more on technology, we become more isolated, and where community used to happen organically, it is now necessary to consciously create it. I'm inspired to make more effort in that direction.
