The book was decently written but I felt cheated the way the ending was wrapped up so quickly...like it was slapped together:
1 - I thought how Laci decided to disregard Monique's begging for forgiveness was quite cunning. I wish that more was written about her stay in rehab because it seems her personality flipped completely within such a short amount of time. Laci was so innocent and sweet, I would have never thought her to have become so cold and calculating.
2 - I wondered what ever happened to TJ? Did he show the tape? Why or why not?
3 - I don't think that Laci should've carried her crack-baby to term. With everything that she's been through, the book constantly reiterated how badly she wanted to forget the painful memories of her addiction. Plus, with how she witness Shaunna treating her kids, I imagine she would not have wanted to follow in her footsteps and have a baby when she wasn't fully prepared for it.
I really did look forward to finally getting my hands on the sequel to Crackhead and while it answered a few of the questions in the first book, this book was more of a let-down than a really great read. I'm sorry, Lisa Lennox.

Simply Amazing Read!!!!Reviewed in the United States on 22 April 2017
It's almost April 2017 and this is by far the best book I've read in almost 6 months. Ms. Lisa Lennox, thank you...I laughed, I cried, I was angry and I fought...right along with Laci and Dink. This was an excellent, excellent book. You did an amazing job developing the characters, with phenomenal editing. Thank you!! Looking forward to reading more by you!!!!
Watch the company you keep.Reviewed in the United States on 9 January 2016
This has always been one of my favorite books from Lisa Lennox. I encourage all young girls to read this book. This book does have a message to it. I feel the younger generation can learn a lot from reading this book, if they allow them selves to open their minds.

Wow!!!Reviewed in the United States on 27 October 2016
I loved this book. This story took me back to my childhood days and the things that were going on at the time. This story was sad but I can't wait to see how it ends.
good readReviewed in the United States on 5 August 2019
the story pulled me in right away. This is a good example of bad things happening to good people. I am so protective over Laci right now, i have ordered Book 2.
