Reviews of Cowboy Town
**This story was so beautifully written, and sweet. It showed with the right people in your life, no matter what walls you build, people can break through them.** Reading Past My Bedtime.
**I was 2 pages in when I decided that I loved this book.**Obsession Is A Book

Ever since her parents passed away in a tragic car accident, Eden Cross has been living a quiet, stable and predictable life in inner Sydney – the total opposite of her carefree, relaxed, happy-go-lucky past. Her parents passing and the fact she’s an only child meant Eden was left with her best friend, Jules and Matt, her boyfriend of three years as her only family. That was until she discovered something about Matt that would turn her life upside down. Eden leaves Sydney in a hurry and begins an adventure that takes her across four Australian states before she lands in Pine Creek, Northern Territory.

Jackson Henley has lived in Pine Creek his entire life. He runs a massive cattle and cropping station with his twin brother, Jeremy, which they inherited when their parents retired. He’s had a bad experience with relationships courtesy of The Bitch - Dannika, so lately he’s preferred to play the field. That is, until he comes face to face with the stunning brunette beauty who’s behind the bar at the Cow and Calf. The problem is, she won’t tell him her name, she won’t give him the time of day, and she won’t give him a chance to prove himself.

What’s it going to take for Eden to give Jackson a chance? Does he have the patience to even bother fighting for her? How will he handle the competition?

In the end, will Jackson have what it takes to convince Eden to start living again, instead of just existing?

After losing her parents Eden has been barely existing in life. She’s been with her boyfriend, Matt for a few years but their relationship lacks chemistry and satisfaction. After catching him in the act with another women she decides to make a change. She needs to clear her head and sets off travelling around Australia.

Driving into the country town of Pine Creek in the Northern Territory, a wave of calm and peace washes over her, this place feels like home. Walking into the local pub she rents a cottage and finds herself talking with the locals and making friends. A beautiful looking man catches her eye, Jackson, a spark between them is ignited but Eden is determined to stay away from him. She doesn't need a cocky player.

Eden has pegged Jackson Hensley wrong, he wants her and he won't give up easily. She doesn't make it easy but slowly her walls are starting to come down. Will his attempts to win her over work?

I really enjoyed this book, I loved Eden and Jackson and the secondary characters were great. If you're looking for a book with a bit of everything I would look no further

I'm going to the Sydney Author Event in November & wanted to read at least 1 book by each author & what a gem I've found in Kasey Millstead.
I really enjoyed Cowboy Town & I'll be back to pay a visit to our Pine Creek hotties as soon as I can. I liked the setting, the characters, the flow of the story but what I liked the most is that it was so real - the language, the friendships & there wasn't a ridiculous amount of drama before a HEA. I'm a farm kid from NZ who now lives in Australia & I felt like I could just relate.
Jackson is our sexy cowboy hero & don't get me wrong he is probably in my top 10 BBF's but the story truly belongs to Edie. She's been through some big life altering moments & lost herself along the way but it seems like she may have found herself when she arrives in Pine Creek. I love her friendship with Jules. They are hilarious & sassy & have each others backs. It reminds me of my friendships. I laughed & cried along with them.
Thank you Kasey for writing a story that felt so real. I can't wait to meet you :)

I was lucky to meet Kasey at an author event in Queensland Australia and she signed the copy of Cowboy Town I brought from her. I started reading the first couple of pages once I had artived home and I got hooked in an instant. I love the story, the chracters are loveable and it proves that one should never judge a person before they truly know them, because you just never know if they are ment to be the one. Fantastic read I recommend Xoxo
