About the Author
Writing is usually a solitary act, but reader-favorite authors (and friends) Mary Connealy, Ruth Logan Herne, Julie Lessman, and Anna Schmidt got a happy Christmas miracle when invited to work together on Cowboy Christmas Homecoming .

Great Christmas novella collectionReviewed in the United States on 16 January 2017
I loved the four novellas in this collection. Julie Lessman, known for her historical sagas, does a great job with Last Chance Christmas. I loved the humor of Grace trying to take care of Pastor Cole McCabe's family, even while nearly burning down the house, and I especially loved the ending when Cole saves Grace when her past comes looking for her. In A Cowboy for Christmas, Ruth Logan Herne tells the story of June and her friends trying to survive along with their children after a fire has destroyed their town and homes. When she meets ranch owner Hugh Stackman, life changes for the better for both of them. In Longhorn Christmas, Mary Connealy's trademark humor is evident from the opening scene when we see Netty hiding from an angry cow while her son sits in a tree. When wandering cowboy Roy rescues her, they both find what they need in each other. Finally, in Connie's Christmas Prayer by Anna Schmidt, we see Constance longing to go back to her home in St. Louis while cowboy Isaac is looking for the right woman to settle down with on his own ranch. I enjoyed the ending to this story.

review for Last Chance Christmas by Julie LessmanReviewed in the United States on 28 December 2016
Last Chance Christmas is a wonderful Christmas read full of fun and hope and cringe-worthy moments. When the unexpected happens, the result is anything but what is expected. I loved this novella. The writing style is gripping, funny, and interesting. Very well written with realistic and interesting moments.

Wonderful winter readReviewed in the United States on 18 December 2018
Another wonderful book with two of my favorite authurs . Mary Connealy and Ruth Logan Herne. You get so caught up in the lives they write about that you feel like they are real people.
Perfect Holiday Heartwarming RomanceReviewed in the United States on 3 January 2017
Redeeming romance at its best. Each cowboy story is as unique as its author. Each story evoked great emotional reactions from me, just what I love in a good story. This set is DEFINITELY worth the price, especially if you like good clean romances.
