Product description

Product Description

Daisy will do anything to save her brother from the Vietnam war, so she devises a plan to smuggle him into Canada. Everything’s groovy until their VW bus breaks down leaving them stranded. As if things couldn’t get any worse, they find themselves at the business end of a shotgun, and the cowboy pointing it is the sexiest man she’s ever seen. She can’t stop staring at his washboard abs and ripped chest.

Greg is stunned by the hippie girl’s curvy body, flowing golden hair, and bright blue eyes. As much as he wants to kick her off his property, he can’t. With his brothers off fighting in Nam, they need a few extra hands around the ranch. As long as his old man doesn’t find out he’s harboring a draft dodger, everything will be copacetic. But as the summer of ’69 heats up, Greg must find a way to convince his fated mate that she belongs in his arms forever.

In a decade defined by Flower Power, social unrest, and the Vietnam War, two unlikely lovers form an everlasting love. This is the story of the Grant brothers’ parents...

This is the seventh book in the paranormal bear romance series - Curvy Bear Ranch. This is a stand-alone book with NO CLIFFHANGERS. Love scenes are fully realized and at times include explicit language.

Title:The Cowbear’s Summer of Love
Series: Curvy Bear Ranch
Destination: Book 7, 140 Pages, StandAlone
Author: Liv Brywood

My Score: 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆
Ms. Brywood is continuing the saga of the Grant Brothers but this is where it gets good we're going back to the Flower Power Days and Woodstock with Draft Dodgers, the Vietnam War. Yep you got it Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll.. Were you a Hippie? Peace!!!
That's right your going to read about how it all started with the Grant Brother's Father, Greg Grant who is a Grizzly Bear Shifter  working hard on his Mom and Dad's Farm.
He was a farmer he wouldn't do anything else. Greg's mom Betty was the sweetest person, a fantastic cook, making the best huckleberry pie on the planet. Now his Dad, Joseph was another story he was a good man but grouchy all the time. And he hated Hippies. Then Greg saw her the most beautiful girl he's ever seen she was a breathe of fresh air she brought the sun shines into his life. Watching her every chance he had, yes him and his bear wanted her no matter what.
Daisy was going to Canada to take her brother whose number came up for  Vietnam. Now Daisy and some friends were taking him to avoid jail. But there little bus had other idea's and they were stuck and needed help. Guess who helped them?
I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

I was gifted a copy of "The Cowbear's Summer of Love" from Liv Brywood, in exchange for an honest review.

With a title that includes "Summer of Love" in it, add in the cover too, I was wondering just what I was in for with this story. So when it landed on my ereader I couldn't wait to start reading it. I can honsetly say I was pleasently surprised with the content, once I started to read it & realise just WHO I was getting to read about... 'The Cowbear's Summer of Love' is book 7 in Liv's "Curvy Bear Ranch" series, although it can be read as a stand alone I do suggest you read this series in order.

Daisy is travelling with her brother & a couple of friends to Canada, saving her brother from having to go to war in the process. When they park near a lake in a remote part of Montana they soon find themselves stranded, but make a deal with a local farmer....

I'm not going to ruin any of this for you, I absolutely LOVED every little detail in this addition to the "Curvy Bear Ranch" series, I think it adds so much to the series.

I enjoyed the series. Each of the 6 brothers found their mates under different circumstances but found love eventually. It was a nice surprise to have read how their parents met. Imagine, Mama bear was a flower child

I'd liked Daisy and Greg story and read all of this series and gotten free the b&b book and can't wait to start reading it.I thought it was odd the Greg didn't really know about fated mates and glad that they traveled, Daisy make up with her family and Andy coming back.

🚃💓💟🌈💠😁 Loved it. A really groove book. The only problem I am having is that this book should be read first.

I just finished reading the last book in this series. The author pulled me into the story so that as I finished one I had to get the next one and read it also. T series kept so me absorbed in them that I didn't want to put them down and would stay up late reading them. The series is very well written and am looking forward to reading more by this author.

Bear shifter romance set in 1969.

This started out kind of slow, but ended in a groovy way. We get to see the Curvy Bear before it became the Curvy Bear. If you like the series, you'll dig this one!

BTW, this is a stand alone, so don't worry if you haven't started at the beginning.
