Nina And Chase On The Case !!!

Ordered book four from the series from a book shop called Be Inspired and it was delivered promptly in just a few days I received it. Started to read it up to chapter two so can't give a proper review yet but it's been good up to now. I'll update once I've read the book.

OMG! Sophia's back...
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 November 2011Verified Purchase
Addictive... that's how I'd describe this book series. Having read 1,2 & 3 I'm used to Andy Mc's format, his characters, the technology and his delivery of the story. That's what makes this 4th book so enjoyable. I'm waiting for Eddie's fantastic dry humour now on every page - even in the most dangerous of situations (laugh out loud stuff).
In this book, Nina gets the lion's share in the story, especially at the begining. The action happens so suddenly at times, it's gripping you already. The techy stuff isn't too techy. The archaeology stuff isn't too, well, archaeological and Andy Mc certainly paints a great visual element in his words. If you've read the others you'll be happy to know that the crazy Australian, Matt makes another appearance and the focus is on the Antarctic as well as the Bondian globe trotting and all round baddie dodging/killing the team seem to do.
The surprise is that Sophia makes a Lazarus return after Eddie first learns that she has been killed by accident by the US government. She becomes an unlikely part of the team much to Nina's disgust - but this adds to the 3 way sparring and dry quips we get in the story.
I'll certainly be wading thru the other books (8 so far I believe) - deffo worth it for a good read which isn't too taxing and leaves you wanting more from these characters. ;)

Absolutely Brilliant - another Andy McDermott Masterpiece.
Thrilling, Gripping, Real page turner - these terms do NOT do these books justice, Dan Brown eat your heart out!
I have read Nina and Eddie 1, 2, 3 and now 4 can't wait to get to 5 and the rest.
If you like Scott Mariani and his hero Ben Hope (And you are as devoted as I am to such a master story teller), you will absolutely LOVE Andy's yarns - get them ordered NOW - or you will never know what you are missing!!.....
