If you're looking for a pair of budget, over ear headphones that sound good, are comfortable and work on all platforms, look no further
The mic quality is okay for comms but I personally don't use it because I have a studio mic with an arm stand so I have no use for it. If you're using it for a console it'll be just fine.
Just be very careful of what you do... there have been incidences where the headphones stop working and no one knows why. I recently got this problem when trying to update the headphone's firmware in the corsair's iCUE.
After an absolutely frustratingly long time and hard work uninstalling drivers and all of that, I fixed it by doing the same thing that caused the problem in the first place.
The weight is a bit heavy but just fine because after all, it is a wireless headset.
The cups swivel, but only a fraction. If you are to have them around your neck it's not constricting at all... (for me at least)
I would have liked to have a function that lets me change the EQ presets or 7.1 surround sound by pressing the power button once.
Just a quick something if you already own the headphones is that you can soft reset them by turning the headphones off and holding the microphone mute button for 15-20 seconds.
Overall it's a nice wireless headset.
I will spare you the hours of frustration and setting changes: eventually, I figured out that there was a mismatch between my PC's audio jack and the configuration of the headset's plug. I still don't know which one is CTIA and which one is OMTP, but I don't have to know, and neither do you. Spend ten dollars on a bi-directional TRRS adapter, and the problem goes away. Both audio and mic are crystal clear now, and the sound quality is good enough that I don't feel deprived when I have to switch over from my speakers to the headset. That's a ringing endorsement.
The new memory foam pads feel very comfortable and provide a good seal for the sound. I was worried about sweat because I usually prefer cloth pads but these have been good so far, my ears don't feel hot and the pads breath well for pleather.
Build quality is excellent, very solid feel and nice metal frame, nice understated looks too.
My only complaints are due to the cable, it's quite a thick cable and not braided, so it doesn't bend easy. Also the cable length is too short for using rear audio outputs on your PC, I had to use an extension to get it to work in my desk setup. It would be nice if they included a 1m splitter run for PC, the splitter provided doesn't extend range.

Headset broke above the left ear cup. Corsair cheaped out on build quality. I had assumed that the metal headband runs all the way from one end to the other but I was mistaken. The top part of the headset is made of hollow plastic which is disappointing. I used these headphones almost everyday for around 3 months and a half months. These headphones were not strong or flexible enough and broke while removing them from my head. Hopefully glue and cellotape will hold it together now.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This is my 2nd gaming headset after the Razer Electra (1st gen) and I have to say that I'm impressed that Corsair delivered such quality at a low cost. Got the headphones for Rs.1999 during diwali sale and it's a really good deal at that price. Following are my thoughts on few aspects of the headphones.
Build Quality:
The headphones are made almost entirely of plastic with aluminium headband. The plastic used feels sturdy and not cheap in any way. I don't see these headphones breaking easily unless you actually throw it on the floor or something. The headphones are also lightweight thanks to the mostly plastic build.
Comfort:
These headphones have pretty large earcups that should enclose most ears comfortable. The padding is soft and comfortable and breathable so your ears won't sweat even after extended use. However, it doesn't provide great sound isolation so you will hear a bit of background noise and small amount of sound may leak out. The padding at the top is decent but not as soft as I would have liked. It is not an issue though as you won't feel any discomfort after a minute or 2.
Sound:
These headphones provide surprisingly balanced sound compared to other headphones I've used. The bass is good and punchy but not overpowering and clarity is good. However, these headphones are not for bassheads who want overpowering bass. These headphones actually sound better than my previous Razer Electra, Sony MDR XB 150 and Sennheiser PX 80 headphones. At this discounted price, I don't expect any other headphones to match the quality of the Corsair HS35.
Functionality:
The headphones come with a volume scroll button on the left side which is easy to adjust but also easy to change by accident. The headphones are best used with the volume dialed up to full and using your pc/mobile settings to adjust volume. Below the volume scroll button is the mic mute button which can be pressed to mute/unmute your mic.
Microphone:
The Corsair HS35 comes with detachable microphone and splitter cable (only in black model) for connecting the headphone to desktop PCs which have separate 3.5mm ports for audio out and microphone. The mic works well and voice is heard clearly without background noise like fan being heard.

1.It's sound quality is better than hs45 7.1 ch. For your information, you can configure 7.1ch using any software that you are working for audio editing.
2. Due to its deep bass you can both listen music and play competitive Fps shooter games as you can hear the footsteps of enemies.
3. It's inbuilt detachable microphone is very reliable. If you want to hear only music, detach it. When you got a call on the go, attach the mic and go on.
4. Its mic consists of noise filtering sponge where you can use it easily when you are working from home.
5. Its inbuilt volume rocker and mute button will make you feel more safe during discord or office calls.
6. Its foam finish on the head part will keep you using without any discomfort all day.
Cons.
1. As some customers mentioned, there is no headphone stand so you need to buy an external one.
2. There may be wear and tear on the leather foam if you are roughly using.
Hope the review helped you.

Mic quality 5/10 it's bad but it's ok, because I don't use mic for recording.
Comfort 10/10, very light weight
Build quality 10/10, very good quality plastic.
Overall it's bang for your buck if you are paying only ₹2000/-.

The cons : The problems i face is mainly the heat after 2 matches i need to take the headphone out because of the heat irritation on the ear which is kind of a deal breaker for me and i live in a cold climate area .
The sound cancelation also is not that good can slightly hear outside noise and can hear if someone is calling u which is not so bad !!
overall good earphone but with the issue of heat produced .. a more breathable earcups would have been better for me !!
