More than 20 years of PC performance innovation
Founded in 1994, Corsair has grown from pioneering the high-performance DRAM market to one of the world’s leading providers of enthusiast-grade PC components and peripherals. Our groundbreaking technology and innovation can be found in our high-performance memory, ultra-efficient power supplies, PC cases, PC and CPU cooling solutions, and solid-state storage devices.
Extreme Liquid CPU Cooling Performance
The Hydro Series H100i v2 is an extreme performance, all-in-one liquid CPU cooler for cases with 240 mm radiator mounts. The 240 mm radiator and dual SP120L PWM fans provide the excellent heat dissipation you need for highly overclocked CPUs. Corsair Link is built in, so you can monitor temperatures, adjust cooling performance and customise LED lighting directly from your desktop.
The double-wide radiator offers approximately twice the cooling area of our Hydro Series coolers which use a 120 mm or 140 mm radiator. It fits virtually any case that has dual 120 mm fan mounts spaced for a 240 mm radiator.
Advanced SP120L PWM fans
Our custom-designed SP120L fans are different than standard case fans – they’re custom-designed to deliver high static pressure for mounting directly against radiators, and the fan blades are specially shaped for maximum air delivery with minimum noise. Since they’re PWM controlled, you can customise the fan speed to choose the optimal point on the performance/noise curve.
Built-in Corsair Link
Attach the included Corsair Link cable to a USB header on your motherboard and download the free Corsair Link software to unlock even more power. You can customise cooling performance, monitor coolant and CPU temperatures, and change the colour of the RGB LED lighting from the default white to match your system, or to change colour based on temperature readings and other inputs.
High-performance CPU cooling made simple
Gone are the days when watercooling required lots of work. The H100i v2 is a closed loop design that comes pre-filled, and it comes with a modular, tool-free mounting bracket for faster instalation.

Though, I can't attest to its longevity as yet. I've only had it a week at the time of this review.

So for anyone considering this or any other aio water cooler please reconsider your purchase. Yes aio's are super cool sounding in theory. Yes I do get a little lower cpu temps, but from past experiences it is not that much lower than a large quality air cooler. If an air cooler breaks you can just walk in Best Buy and purchase a new fan and have your computer back the same day. If an aio breaks then you have to ship it back or order something else. Maybe other companies have better customer support than Corsair, but at a minimum you will be without a cpu cooler for a few days. With a Corsair cooler likely a month or more.
I am just going to purchase something new and sell this junk on craigslist or something when I get it back from Corsair, if they ever even approve the return. Will never purchase an aio again, and will definitely never purchase anything with mechanical parts from Corsair again.
I bought this for a Ryzen 1800x, and it does the job very well.
I was a little worried as I had seen a few reviews that said it did not have the needed parts for Ryzen, but mine did. Not sure if these people had older versions or if the parts were simply miss placed at the factory.
I just spent way too much money building my new computer, so I am going to wait a bit before I do anything else to the computer, but the very first upgrade I do will be replacing all the noisy Corsair fans. Dont get me wrong, I have heard much louder fans, and they are not terrible by any means, but they are also not quite. If I was to do it all over again I would probably purchase something like the Noctua NH-D15, but this was on sale when I bought it and I let neatness over rule practicality.
On a final note, it really could have used a better install guide, it didnt take too long to install, but I did scratch my head for a few moments while trying to figure it out. This is a particularly funny comment coming from me, as I generally read reviews and see comments like this and think "Idiot actually needed a manual". So if your like me, and this is your first water cooler/your a little confused the only advise I have is if you can not figure it out just flip over the big silver screws/stand offs in the AM4 bag and screw them into the bracket that came with your motherboard with the skinny end facing up, do not even touch the AMD bag, and then you only need the nuts from the unmarked bag.
On a side note, I have never used the stock thermal paste with any system build, but the premium thermal paste I ordered was the last part to arrive and I just could not wait to put my fancy new rig together. There is virtually no difference in the temps, and any temp difference is probably nothing more than differences in room temperature. So the included thermal paste is surprisingly good.
