I had this item on my wish list for quite a while and then went back and saw it; wondering why I hadn't purchased it yet. I am a professional content writer and having just purchased it, already got ideas to include into a website that I am currently working on.
I read another reviewer that said you should just use a Thesaurus instead, aside from the fact that this book also includes phrases; a thesaurus doesn't help you formulate ideas like having a list of words does. I already use a list of good buzzwords when I write content but now thanks to this book, that word list is much larger.
When it comes to copywriting, some words just have more power than others. True, there are lot's of word lists out there and, also true, you can use a thesaurus. Those work fine for an author. A copywriter sometimes gets stuck though looking for the exact turn of phrase that will close the deal and make the sale. This book, though a simple book of lists, will help when you definitely can't find just the word you're looking for.

This book is not designed as a how-to for copywriting. This is a book that is more useful if you start to get a little burned out and inspiration isn't coming. Simply choose any letter, but x and there are a bunch of helpful phrases or words that will help to get you unstuck.
Your inspiration may not even look like the hints and examples you read, but it will get you thinking. Don't try to read like a novel. Read a few at random when you're feeling stuck and you're racking your brain.
This book is not a cover to cover reader but rather a reference of powerful words used in copywriting. I like how the words are arranged in alphabetical order for easy use. I feel this will be a great resource when I get "stuck" writing or looking for just the right words.
