About the Author
L.A. Banks was the author of the Vampire Huntress Legend series and the Crimson Moon Novels, including Left for Undead and Never Cry Werewolf. She had a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and a master's in fine arts from Temple University. Banks considered herself a shape-shifter, writing romance, women's fiction, crime and suspense, and of course, dark vampire huntress lore. She lived with her daughter in Philadelphia until her death in 2011. --This text refers to the paperback edition.
"A fantastically inventive reweaving of several intriguing belief systems seasoned with an urban flair in a new series featuring angels, demons and nephilim in their ongoing struggle. Ms. Banks demonstrates her flair for melding real events with paranormal explanations as she mixes in enlightening scenarios that feature enjoyable ethnic cuisine, breakdancing, the Main Library in Philadelphia and even the Delaware River in ways that pertain to the ongoing struggle between good and evil." --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

Irgendwie langweiligReviewed in Germany on 28 May 2013
Classic Banks prose...Reviewed in the United States on 25 December 2011
I have read every one of her books and Ms. Banks, once again, provided me with an entertaining story to escape the daily grind. Although her books are pure fiction, she includes just enough fact and reality into the stories to make them seemingly real. Her references to historical artifacts and geographical locations were factual and believable. While this book does not reach the same level of intensity as her Vampire Huntress series, the battle scenes were spot-on. I will miss her imaginative mind and the way she developed her characters and storylines throughout the series.

Mama Banks never disappointsReviewed in the United States on 15 October 2011
I was so into this book that I was sad and mad when I got to the end. Sad because I know there might not be another book after this second one for the series and mad because such a talent is no longer here with us. I loved this story of a continuing battle between good and evil, angels and demons. The final battle between the two has been predicted for thousands of years but no one knows what may really happen. Celeste was a brave heroine through all of this. Loved her!

* 3.5 * Unanswered QuestionsReviewed in the United States on 30 September 2011
I was truly enjoying the second book in Ms. Bank's Angel series until I got close to the end and realized a 3rd book would be needed to answer alot of questions. I am aware of Ms. Banks untimely passing, but I hope the publisher will allow a ghost writer to finish this series and the Neteru Academy series.

Ok ReadReviewed in the United States on 23 June 2012
This was an ok book it wasn't as good as her other books but maybe that is why THIS wasn't as good to me because I've read the entire Vampire Huntress Series. So I would suggest that you borrow and not buy this book but then again this book was right toeards the end of Ms. Banks life so sad that she died but her work will live on forever.
