There are flies in the ointment, however. Savannah’s best friend from high school is back in town, and seems to be setting her cap for Savannah’s brother Dix. Savannah has been rooting for Dix and Tamara Grimaldi to get together, and this new development doesn’t make her happy. Sure, she loves Charlotte… but Charlotte already has a husband, and shouldn’t need another one. She especially shouldn’t need Dix, not when Savannah wants Grimaldi to have him.
And then there’s the case Rafe is working on. Katie Graves was a teenager when she disappeared fifteen years ago. Now she’s back—or at least her remains are. And the evidence in what looks like a case of homicide points squarely to one of Savannah’s nearest and dearest.
With another Martin on the hot-seat, and Rafe and Grimaldi duty-bound to serve the law, it’s up to Savannah to keep her family safe and out of prison.

Review
"A frothy girl drink of houses, hunks and whodunit narrated in a breezy first person..." Lyda Phillips, The Nashville Scene
"Hooks you in the first page and doesn't let go until the last!" Lynda Coker, Between the Pages
"The hilarious dialog and the tension between Savannah and Rafe will delight fans of chick-lit mysteries and romantic suspense." Jo Ann Vicarel, Library Journal
"Move over Stephanie Plum, there is a sassy, sexy sleuth in town! If you enjoy your cozy mysteries with a good shot of romance, and a love triangle with a sexy bad boy and a Southern gentleman in the mix, then you will love this. Very reminiscent of the Stephanie Plum books, but the laughs are louder, the romance is sexier and there is a great murder mystery to top it off." Bella McGuire, Cozy Mystery Book Reviews
"Enough wit and sexual chemistry to rival Janet Evanovich!"New York Timesbestselling author Tasha Alexander
"Equal parts charming and sexy, with a side of suspense. Hero and heroine, Savannah Martin and Rafe Collier, are a pairing of perfection." Paige Crutcher, examiner.com
"I have loved this series since book one and have enjoyed being along for the ride as Savannah has grown from the princess on the hill who tried to live up to her mother's outdated expectations into a strong woman who stands up for her own beliefs and the man she loves. Jenna Bennett has tackled a sensitive subject with honesty, Southern charm, and laugh out loud humor. And the series keeps getting better. I can't wait for the next one." Reader Karli

Rafe, Savannah and baby Carrie are living in Savannah's childhood home.
Human remains have been discovered and Rafe has to investigate. Unfortunately the prime suspect is his sister-in-law. Savannah wants to clear her sister and in her spare time find out what is going on between her brother Dix and her old friend Charlotte.

In Conflict of Interest, the couple and baby Carrie have moved to her hometown while their seriously burned home in Nashville is being repaired. Rafe, who has taken a short- term job with Grimaldo, the new chief of police, is working with the sheriff's department to investigate the murder of a teen from the time they were all young. The bones have just been identified so the case is both new and old while all of the evidence, what little there is, is 16-years old. No one seems to have known the victim well, but someone in the Martin family has a close connection that leads to unwise choices and the suspect list. For the 17th time, I love this book.
