5.0 out of 5 stars Practical 18 April 2016

I've been teaching ESL for over 10 years now. I found this book very easy and practical.

It's not a lengthy book, but it is enough for majority of the people who will be traveling.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for beginners ! 7 November 2014

I got this book as a gift from a friend as I am teaching some non-english speakers the ABCs of travel English. And he thought this book might come very handy for me . It does. The book contains more than ten chapters, all organized in the same order a tourist will face once he/she steps on a foreign land. From airport check-in to shpping and dinning out, I can find almost everyting they need to master in order to travel by themselves in an English-speaking country. Each chapter has a brief introduction first , then lists several questions and answers related to the subject of the chapter, for instance, how to answer questions from a security agent etc. . The only thing missing in the book is a glossary. Except for that, this is an awesome book for a beginner who wants to travel to America on his/her own. Thank you, Janet :)
