I knew from Cuffed I would love Grady, I have a serious ‘thing’ for cocky fireman but wow!!! Just absolutely wow!!! To say I loved this book just doesn’t even cut it... I adored this book.

Grady and Dylan are such amazing characters, both broken and in desperate need of fixing... my favourite kind of read and I especially love it when the female character is just as ‘broken’ as the male character.

I really enjoyed Cuffed... but Combust... I LOVED it!!

Well done Kristy... as always you have absolutely smashed it!!!

This is K. Bromberg at her finest. To say she has blown me away would be an understatement.
Feelings, emotions and her words are what make her this truly talented and genuine Romance Writer. Some authors have it and some don’t but let me tell you K. Bromberg has it in spades.

Grady and Dylan’s story is one of past pain and scars, of second chances and finding out how to Face Everything and Rise.
Grady is the youngest of the Malone brothers with a panty dropping smile and a cocky attitude that makes him one very hot firefighter that will leave you wet and panting. She is a brilliant song writer but her self confidence has take a massive hit so now she doubts herself personally. Her compassion for others and her heart will draw you in and have you cheering her on all the way.
The chemistry between these two in so strong that it will COMBUST, the flames will IGNITE, and the heat will INTENSIFY.

The feelings evoked in this book are overwhelming. Yes K. Bromberg made me cry, laugh, curse and fall in love with this book and it characters. When you read this book you can see in your mind and feel in your heart everything that has been written.

Time to set my house on fire so the next Malone, Grady the fireman can come and put out my fire!

This is the second Malone brother we have had the pleasure of reading, and I liked it more than cuffed. Maybe it is the fireman thing (I am a volunteer firefighter and never find any guys like this out there) but whatever it was, sign me up for more!

I loved that both our hot man Grady and our lovely lady Dylan aren't perfect. They have their issues and they are not swept under the rug. They fell real, the are dealt with realistically, and not gonna lie, they broke my heart.

And don't get me started on the jerk of an ex boyfriend. I hope I am not the only one who wanted to throw my kindle - at his head!!

But Dylan and Grady though? They are sweet, and tender, and all kinds of sexy. And pretty much perfect for each other.

I loved getting more of Grant and Emerson, seeing where they are at in their lives. There is great banter between the 3 Malone men, and ow I am impatient to see where Grayson's story will lead us.

Sweet, sexy, flirty - Combust is a great read. Buy it. You will like it!

This series is seriously becoming one of my faves. I LOVE the Malone Brothers!!

First we had hot cop Grant. Next up is scorching Fireman Grady!

Grady chooses to be an eternal bachelor. No strings, no attachments. Something in his recent past has made him realize he has be this way.

He agrees to have a roommate for a few months who is the sister of an old friend, songwriter Dylan. At first it's easy for him to be just friends with her but she slowly works her way into his affections and when an unwanted guest descends on his house he finds himself playing house with her.

Dylan needs to get away for a while. Cheated on by her rock star ex she needs to get away so she won't be tempted to take him back.

Tied into a contract by the music company Dylan has to write an album for her/ with her ex which she knows is going to be difficult. Her brother finds her a place to stay where she can write and be alone. Finding herself with a sexy roommate is not what she was expecting. From her first encounter with him she can acknowledge his hotness but there are two problems. One, she would never be sexy enough for him as she has curves in abundance and two, he's a firefighter.

Can the two of them change the perceptions each of them have? Can they battle the past and carve a future? Will Grady ask her to stay when her time there is up?

Such an amazing story! I loved it from the start! Both characters had me from the get go.

I loved how vulnerable Dylan was but she still had plenty of sass to throw around. Her inner thoughts i think will be relate-able to most girls. After being cheated on her confidence is pretty low but the way Grady see's her gave me massive warm fuzzies!! She's so kind and understanding she's the type of character you would love as a best friend. It kinda saddened me that she didn't have any girl friends so i loved it when Grady's family took her in.

Grady, Grady, Grady... gah! i love him. I have kinda a thing for Firemen... OK i have a massive thing for Firemen. I mean come on!!! Who doesn't!!! But Grady... wow... just...yum... i need him!!! He's such an amazing character to fall in love with. He's strong and cocky and arrogant but then there's the hero side of him. The need to protect others. The love for his family. The need to be honorable in everything he does. Boy oh boy did Mr and Mrs Malone raise some amazing sons!!

The storyline went from angsty to heartbreaking, funny to beautiful and back again. I loved the flow of the story. I was drawn into both Grady and Dylan's lives. I was there with them every step of the way. Through the highs and the lows and that's what i love best about this author, she makes you care. She makes you invested in the story as though you are part of it.

Fabulous supporting characters. All of Grady's family are amazing. Particularly his mom! She needs those grand-babies!

Beautifully written i really can't fault a word. I'm so excited now for Grayson's story i think my heart may be smashed to pieces by him. I seriously can't recommend this book highly enough! Contemporary Romance at it's finest!

What a follow up! Amazing writing (no surprise!) and phenomenally written characters. I adored Dylan and Grady from the first page that they appeared together. They were such complex characters, so real because of that and they made this book into something very special.
I must admit that one of my favourite things in K Brombergs books is how she paints parents. The love and wisdom that they gently pass onto their adult children is beautiful. Maybe it's the fact that I'm a mother myself but I take such heart in this. Especially where in a lot of books parents of adults play negative roles and certainly don't give out the 'real life' advice that the parents K's books do.
Overall, I think this follow up is even better than the first. I liked these two more, felt they were just better written and I engaged with this plot so much more.

Oh my goodness me I don’t think I’ve teared up so much reading story like this for a long time . It’s full of raw emotion and angst Grady is a firefighter and one third of the georgeous Malone brothers . Whilst on a job his best freind and work partner Drew looses his life and in the process it leaves Grady physically and emotionally scarred from the incident, he spends a long time in hospital recovering and finally goes back to work but he usually stays on the outside of the fire taking command as he feels he’s lost his nerve . Then one day he receives a phone call from a freind who asks him if his sister Dylan can stay with him for a while as she’s been deeply hurt after she discovered her rock star boyfriend had been playing around behind her back and as she writes his songs she needs to get away to complete the album they are working on .The main problem being that they can’t let on that they were really splitting up as it would not sit well with the record producers so until they finished the album they were working on then they had to be seen as still together . When both Grady & Dylan meet it soon becomes apparant that both have feelings for one another , but both are struggling with issues ,Grady with, survivors gilt and Dylan with image issues as she thinks she’s not beautiful after being told that she was not suitable girlfriend material for her boyfriend by the woman she caught him with . What follows Is a beautiful journey they go on both helping one another and although Dylan would like commitment, because of his job Grady doesn’t feel he can offer her that due to the danger of his job ,so after finishing the album she leaves . Is there a HEA ......of course there is and it is beautiful.

Both are thrown together as Grady is asked to provide a bolt hole for his friends sister to retreat to. Over the months the both grow close to one another, but not without their trials and tribulations. Dylan's ex turns up and Grady is hiding his pain. Can they both stand the rising temperature and chemistry they share. Even though they help each other to heal in ways, when their time is up will they be able to extinguish the flame and move on with their lives separately. A fantastic read. A must read.
