5.0 out of 5 stars Short and Sweet 12 November 2015
By Just a reader - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Dr. Timothy Martin is a surgeon who lost the use of his hand while trying to perform a good deed. Deeply depressed over the loss of his career, he turns to Meggie Martin as a last resort. Meggie is an 'alternative' therapist his mother recommends. Through Meggie, Timothy realizes he may never regain his career as it once was, but maybe change is good. He also discovers that love might also be in store for the couple. But Meggie holds a secret that threatens their relationship. Color My Christmas is short, so don't expect a long story. It is a thoughtful, sweet contemporary romance perfect for the upcoming holidays
5.0 out of 5 stars Tender, sweet, A feel good short read to brighten your holiday 13 November 2015

A tender, sweet, holiday romance.
Mothers always try to do the best for their children, no matter how old or mature that child is.
Mothers of boys are perhaps even more protective.

Dr. Timothy Martin is an educated and accomplished surgeon, or at least he was.
An incident a year ago left his self confidence shattered and his dominant hand with minimal function.
He had tried all the usual medical treatments to repair it. As a last resort he gives in to his mother's request to seek help from Meggie Marie. After all, this Meggie did help his mother, who considers Meggie to be almost magical.

Meggie wants to help her friend Alma's son but she doesn't hold unrealistic hopes for him returning to the operating room. She and Alma share a secret which makes Meggie uncomfortable.

From the moment Timothy sees Meggie he begins to understand what his mother feels is so special about her. Besides helping his hand, she energizes his whole outlook on life. Could she feel the same way?
Will her secret ruin everything? Do Christmas miracles ever truly happen?

Well written with a touch of mystery and romantic tension.
A feel good short read to brighten your holiday.
5.0 out of 5 stars YOU BROUGHT ME BACK TO LIFE 13 November 2015

What a sweet short and clean Christmas time romance. What happens when a doctor who is a surgeon has his hand injured to the point his surgical career is ruined? He seeks all types of medical help and then becomes bitter and grieves the loss. Sometimes a mother has so much love that she will do whatever it takes to help, even if it is meddling. Throw in a petite, sassy grief counselor and you have a charming tale, full of raw and honest emotions. Sprinkle in hope, happiness, and falling in love. The plot kept me captivated and the pages turning with dialog that is heartwarming.

This was a very happy story and just what I needed after some sad ones.

In this story a doctor suffers a career ending accident as a talented surgeon and thinks his life is worthless. He strikes out at medical world for not being able to "fix" him. Enter his loving mother who seeks out he women who helped her.

Since this is short story, I have kept this review short. I will add a couple of comments: This story is well written, darn enjoyable, and so very refreshing!

This is a sweet short love story. Timothy was a great surgeon until a bad accident changes his life. Now he's down, depressed, and not sure if he'll ever be happy again. That is, until mom sets up a !meeting with Meggie. She helps people that have grief problems. The attraction is instant, but Timothy is still unsure if she'll be able to help him at all.
