Okay so I have definitely got my newest Tarah addiction. Normally I don't read very much because I have to Forfeit sleep being the mother of a two-year-old just to get any reading done but honestly after finishing Colony one on Audible I couldn't wait. The characters in the story are very different but you take a strong woman and a man who has the will to do the right thing and they can make a very powerful team.
If you don't continue and read the author's note at the end of each book you are definitely missing out. These notes have sent me on rabbit holes for hours reading about scary things we may not normally know about but should. Many of these things I already researched but some of them like with the prison phone system Securus I had no idea about. Definitely take time to read the author's note because you will learn quite a bit and see all of the research that goes into her writting.

Always great!Reviewed in the United States on 7 September 2020
Once again, Tarah Banner gets you thinking, could this actually happen?Reviewed in the United States on 17 October 2018
I love all of Tarah Benner's books and this was no exception. I was a little disappointed that the action moved back to earth instead of continuing on the Space station. That being said, the premise of this book where a few large conglomerates could completely take over the world is scarily possible. As usual, Tarah's books are well researched and could happen in real life. When you think about how much data that is accessible online for everyone, you can see how you could be manipulated into having your rights taken away, thinking it is just easier ways of communicating or being wired in all the time. Definitely worth reading!
Book 2 colonyReviewed in the United States on 1 May 2019
Book 2 had a few errors throughout and was a slow book. The characters and plot had potential, but was the same as the first book but on Earth instead. I will not read book 3. It will probably be the same but back at the space station, so it will repeat itself.

Interesting follow-upReviewed in the United States on 6 October 2020
This was a good continuation of the first book. These are definitely not standalone stories and need to be read in order.
Amazing!!Reviewed in the United States on 4 September 2018
Tarah doesn't disappoint with Colony War. It picks up right where book one left off and I couldn't put it down. I love Maggie and Jonah and the nonstop action. I have always loved reading Tarah's books and can't wait for book three. I also always enjoy her author's note and the research she has put in to her writing. I'm glad she is a fast writer and I usually don't have to wait long.
