Good things come in small packagesReviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 October 2016
The book is bigger than I was expecting a "pocket" dictionary to be! Its cover is 4.5" x 6", and its depth is 1.25" However, it's beautifully presented and ideal for my daughter who is doing Spanish A-Level (and who wants a smaller book than the tome on her desk at home). The book's entries are in bold, blue font, and the explanations are clear, in an easily readable black font. The middle section of the dictionary gives tips on how to write an email, a letter; how to improve fluency; it explains some common difficulties found in learning Spanish, plus information on Spain and the Spanish speaking world. And it;s up to date. Perfect.

Biggest pocket dictionary I have ever seen! If you are looking for a small dictionary to pop in your pocket or bag then this is not for you. It is bulky and heavy. It would be great to use if you are learning the language and want to take it to class - the content is good.

A very practical, user-friendly design design.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 July 2015
Only time will tell with continued use, but so far I like the design of this dictionary range and have them for French, Italian and Spanish. They don't fit easily in a pocket, but do have an extensive vocabulary in readable sized print unlike many smaller versions.

This dictionary was bought to replace an earlier edition of the same which, due to much use, has finally given up the ghost! While classed as a pocket dictionary, I would say more suitable to be carried in a bag than pocket.
