It's compact, lightweight - everything you could want for trekking/backpacking etc, fits easily inside a daypack too.
My only issue is they're too tall for the vertically challenged (my fault for not taking into account the measurements, these are too large for someone who is only 5'2" but I know that I will easily find them a new home).
Other than that one little thing, I have found them to be exactly as described, love how light they are, how easy it is to adjust the height and how easily they fit both in and outside of my backpack.

I like the construction as it avoids the tendency of telescopic poles that can slip to a shorter length when one's weight is suddenly applied. It also avoids the possibility of dirt and moisture getting within the upper sections of the pole.
Very good value.
I tested it out over about 3 miles of walking, on a variety of surfaces and conditions (tarmac road, stony path and deep mud on farm land), and it performed well, seemingly sturdy enough and with a comfortable handle.
I'd recommend though that users ensure that once the pole sections are (easily) slotted into position, they remember to give a full twist to each section of the pole to ensure they are all properly secured. I didn't do this on my first use of the pole and found that it came apart when the bottom section was held onto by a deep puddle of thick clay mud. Entirely my fault and, once fully tightened up as it was supposed to be, the pole behaved perfectly from then on. TIP: A way of checking it's assembled securely is to note whether it rattles or clicks as it comes down on the path. If it does, it needs tightening.
The only criticism I have, (and this is the only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars), is, as a couple of other reviewers have mentioned, that the pole does not allow for adjustment to accommodate people of smaller stature. I am 5 ft 4.5 inches and found that the pole, even at its shortest length, was slightly too long for me. This means that sadly I won't be using it regularly after all, which is a shame because apart from that issue it seems pretty good and I'm otherwise happy with it. For my purposes it's great only for short walks, but I imagine other (taller) people will be satisfied with it.
