Code Name: Forever & Ever - A Warrior’s Challenge series - Book Five

When an Ivy League girl falls for a guy from the wrong side of the tracks, all the cards are stacked against them except one. Love refuses to die in Code Name: Forever & Ever.

Harvard graduate Margaret Stines rejects the job offered on a silver platter by her father. With a modeling contract in one hand and her possessions in the other, she leaves the neon lights of Glittertown for San Diego. She’d rather enlist in the Navy than marry the Hollywood wannabe executives her father brings home for dinner. A rebel at heart, Marg is seduced into the arms of a sailor. Only he’s the wrong one and when she meets his best friend Patrick Cobbs, she realizes her impetuous act will crucify her in his eyes.

Patrick is given one chance to leave the slums of San Diego to become a Navy SEAL. Recently graduated from BUD/S training, he and his swim buddy Thane Austen are infallible and cocky, certain they’ll earn their Tridents. While celebrating their success at St. George’s, Patrick meets Marg, but there’s no time to start a slow burn between them when the club goes up in flames. Worlds apart, Pat is the last guy Marg’s anti-military parents want for their daughter. With her grandfather’s name etched on the Wall of the Fallen, Marg’s father will do anything to keep them apart. Pat’s father’s a drunk; his family is poor. He has nothing to offer Marg except the man he wants to become. Only one person believes in them, and he’s dead.

5.0 out of 5 stars love that is forever and ever!! 12 November 2016

I'm really struggling to put into words just how much I love the Warrior's Challenge series, and each book just keeps reinforcing that love and growing it!

This book takes us back in time to when Cobbs and Austen first join the SEALs and meet Marg and grow a forever and ever type of friendship - and love. Watching Thane and Cobbs friendship form from the beginning and seeing it forged in steel though deployments and trials and daily life is almost as good as watching the forever love grow between Cobbs and Marg. Friends like that are few and far between and meant to be treasured. Seeing this makes the present day part of the story in the series even more poignant. I fell even harder for Thane seeing the younger version of himself.

But Marg and Cobbs' relationship, their forever and ever love, wow, did that ever spark and the flames engulf me. Cobbs' strength, character, nobility, honor, and depth of feelings made me fall hard for him - loving him more than what I expected to. Marg's determination, confidence, feminine strength, and love poured out of the pages and into my heart.

Before I was done reading the book, I already wanted to start it over from the beginning and re-experience it all, and then after turning the last page and reading THE END, I wanted to immediately go back to Code Name Ghost and see the story with a whole new set of eyes. And a full reread is in my near future.

If you enjoy military romance, if you enjoy seeing a forever and ever type of love, you don't want to miss this. If you want to experience all the feels from laughter to tears, from freaking out scared to edge-of-seat intensity, you don't want to miss this. Natasza Waters knows how to take you on a beautiful journey through her stories.

5.0 out of 5 stars you will be delighted to read Capt 12 November 2016

Natasza Waters has given us 4 incredible reads with her A Warriors Challenge Series. After a long hiatus she has handed us Code Name Forever & ever Book 5 with absolute perfection. If have followed this series, you will be delighted to read Capt. Pat Cobbs & Marg's story plus him & Thane's journey to become U.S Navy Seals, that started over 20 years ago. Marg is exactly what Pat needs to come home to and Pat is exactly what she needs to her happiness. This book answers some of those questions that have sat in the back of your mind. Ms. Waters never disappoints, this time she hit the ball out of the ball park in game for a grand slam.

5.0 out of 5 stars ... at this point in the Warrior's Challenge series I'm glad for the birth of 2 people 22 November 2016

Well this might sound strange but at this point in the Warrior's Challenge series I'm glad for the birth of 2 people: Josephine Cochrane who invented the first working dishwasher and Jacob Christian Schäffer who designed the first washing machine. Without them the next week would have been very interesting with an empty closet and china cabinet since I was glued to my Kindle from the first character of the book till those famous words "The End".
As was already said in a different review Ms. Waters again manages to put the reader in the middle of the action where you kind of get the 5.0 surround speaker feeling: Bullets whiz past your ear, you practically feel the heat of the flames and the suspense of the situation is palpable in the air arround you. I wish other authors could do the same because I constantly find myself finishing a book and feel this 5.0 surround feeling is missing.
I loved to see how it all started and started re-reading the entire series. The surrounding with how Marg is coping with Pat's death was great though gut-wrenching because I know first hand how Marg feels. The great thing was that though Ms. Waters made me bawl like a baby in this book and in the last she also consoled me and reminded me of a fact:

"Our angels try to steer us in the right direction and protect us when we step down the wrong path. Often they are those little voices you hear. Don't doubt them, they have your best interests at heart"

Thank you Ms. Waters for this piece of comforting wisdom and another masterpiece in this series! Can't wait for the next one...
5.0 out of 5 stars Heartbreaking and Beautiful! 20 December 2016

This book travels from present day to the beginning of Cobbs and Thane’s career and friendship in the Navy SEALs. It’s also the love story of Marg Stines and Patrick Cobbs.

For me, this story had the feeling of The Notebook. We start with Patrick’s death and then Waters takes us back to Marg as a young woman defying her family’s wishes of a strategic wedding to live her dream of becoming a model.

Then she meets Patrick and knows he’s The One.

This is not a unicorns and rainbows kind of love story, it’s real, gritty, heartbreaking, and beautiful.

I give Code Name: Forever and Ever 5 lovely kisses- Highly recommended!

Natasza Waters is an extremely talented writer. I love military romance and she is by far one of the best and it shows in this series. I've read many , many books and I can honestly say I will read and re-read this series and never get bored.

Code Name: Forever & Ever
This book is another winner for Natasza. I do admit I loved going on this journey with Marg and Cobbs, Thane. Although my heart was broken for Marg and the girls. Knowing what happened before going through their trials and tribulations kept the tears flowing. Natasza Waters has become my number 1 military writer and that is saying something because there is only 2 authors that I have read military romance suspense that are worth their weight in gold! Natasza Waters should be on the #1 best sellers list everywhere!
