What happens when Alex Wolf and Sloane Howell combine to write a book? Sheer magic, hot moments and plenty of laughs. I have loved Alex Wolf's writing since he released his first book, and I've been a Sloane Howell reader for probably just as long. Their writing was totally flawless. You could not tell were one finished and the other began. Their ability to get into a woman's mind was superb.
Admittedly I didn't like Decker Collins at the beginning, he was rude, stubborn and arrogant, but this man grew on me. The further I got into this story the more I liked him, he was sexy, charismatic and totally alpha. Once his story was told his actions became understandable. He certainly redeemed himself, in my eyes, with one momentous action ... this man was perfect. I loved Tate Reynolds from her first introduction. This woman was no walkover, she was smart, sassy and very sensual. She knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go after it ... even if it cost her her job. Together they heated up the pages by oozing sexiness and having an off the charts chemistry.
Excellent beginnning to what hopefully will be a new series. Books about Decker's three brothers are definitely a requirement.
Not a book to be missed.
