bone crushing pain

When I first put these on, I thought they were super comfy and loved them. Then I wore them out and changed my mind while walking across a parking lot. The edges of the shoe around the ankle come up too high and bump the little protruding ankle bone with each step. Also, the straps across the left shoe are too tight for my high insteps, and it feels like my foot bones are being crushed with each step. I wish I had worn these around the house for a while instead of wearing them out immediately so I could return them.

I love these Rockports, as they're ultra comfortable out of the box. No break in time is needed. I normally wear an 8.5W if the toe is somewhat pointed, so I ordered a size up, and these were perfect. I would order again in different colors. Great for work or casual walking. I also love the earthy dark olive color because I can wear with many colors and blend with multiple outfits.

Cute low heeled-shoe

I bought this shoe to wear at a wedding as didn't want too high of a heel. I'm happy with the feel and fit of the shoe. Because of the velcro straps the velcro is a little scratchy on bare skin, but I think if you snipped a couple of the velcro teeth that are close to the skin, it would be great against bare skin. With a think nylon sock the scratchy issue is NOT a problem. Wonderful to have this shoe presented at a got-to-have price. I imagine this shoe to look very cute with jeans, pants and of course any skirt. I think it will be a great shoe to throw in a travel bag if you needed to wear a shoe before and after you wear your very fancy "five minute" shoes. The price offered via Amazon does in NO way affect the quality of the shoe.

good heel height

These shoes are cute, good heel height, and like all Cobb Hill, very comfortable. The crossover straps add a little drama. I was so fond of them that I ordered two colors, these rubbed my swollen ankles a bit which could have been solved with a heel pad to lift ankles a bit, but I am returning them because I ordered 4 pair to choose from since I have priblem feet, and I chose two other pairs.
