This is one beautiful shoe, out of the box. The fit seems true to size, and the B width was not swamping me. (I have on the narrow end of regular width feet...though narrows in general are too narrow for me.) They felt very nice on, (besides the arch issue below.)
It could use more arch support (I need a lot, like in Chaco, Earthies, OluKai Umpa sandals, etc.) All of the Cobb Hill shoes I ordered had the same issue with not a lot of arch support. The insoles are not designed to come out, but on one of the shoes was not glued in everywhere, and the glue seems fairly weak. One could likely slip some extra arch support underneath the insole if they were keeping the shoes and wanted to pry up the arch area to stick something underneath, but not good for adding your own complete insole.
The black suede and detail stitching is beautiful. I am just afraid these beautiful shoes would get ruined quickly. I wonder how quickly the toes will start to look scuffed, seeing them now in person. They seem cute, comfortable, but likely a little too fragile for real wear (at least in my life.) A "best dress" type shoe.
