5.0 out of 5 stars What a story 3 March 2017

I've been anxiously awaiting Coal to be released and it didn't disappoint. This story was so good I found myself talking about it long after it was done. It kept me enthralled and on the edge of my seat.
Paisley is a genuine person who just wants to have balance in her life. When she bumps into Coal she realizes that their aura is connected. I laughed so many times about her internal ramblings and what she wanted to do to make it right. Also the interaction with Des and Morgan were perfect. How they loved their friend for her quirks and what they did for her at the end made me all gushy.
Coal thinks he knows how he's destined to live. He doesn't realize that this mission the Regulators are sent on will have him re-evaluating his life. When Paisley bumps into him he can tell that she would be his downfall. I love how he describes her and nicknames her Pixie. Seriously laughed out loud when he told her to get ready and she was done in 5 minutes. Jessie and Chelsea did a fabulous job of making you feel like you were there. I had a movie playing in my head of the whole story.
I liked how this one was different from other stories of MC men finding their loves. There wasn't a ton of sex in here but honestly, it fit the story perfectly and I read my romance novels for more than the sex. I want a story and this was top notch. What was also a nice surprise was that the issue the MC was working on. It showed how they don't always have to meet their loved one because of an MC issue.
If you have read the first two then grab you calming salt lamp. Snuggle on your wooden couch and read Coal. It will have you wanting your own lemon spritzer salad 😊.

Good story. I will say that I wasn't quite taken with Paisley. She was a little much for me with the balancing energies, vegan, clean living, etc.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Enjoyable and pleasantly quirky addition to the series! 2 June 2017

Coal is the third book in the Regulators MC by Chelsea Camaron. It was well written and told in the dual POV from both Coal and Paisley.

Trevor "Coal" Blake. He was tough, sexy, cautious and guarded; yet, big hearted towards those he cared about.

Paisley Asher. She was simplistic, quirky, an environmentalist and focused on positive energy and light for all those around her.

The storyline provided an interesting perspective and not the normal verbiage. Through Paisley, Camaron discussed balancing chi, a positive aura and all things that are good both for the human body and the environment. It was definitely not the typical MC lifestyle.

True to the series, there was suspense and mystery within the MC; albeit, this one was pretty disturbing and graphic. However, it was also a little confusing and hard to follow at one point, even after it was explained. I felt it needed just a little more development, but was still entertaining and enjoyable.

Much to my pleasure, Camaron included the strong cast of supporting characters from the previous books in the series. It was great to experience their continued growth and development.

There is more that can be done with this series so although there wasn't mention of anything yet, I'm hopeful we'll see something in the near future.

5.0 out of 5 stars He doesn't trust easily, and has a darkness that surrounds him 3 April 2017

Coal is the third title in the Regulators MC series, and the first title in this series that I have read.

Paisley Asher the heroine is a unique and quirky character. A bit of a hippy, mother earth type she is strong and true to herself, although she's a bit difficult to relate to she is incredibly endearing.

Trevor Blake aka Coal is an bad-ass, alpha bearded biker, the VP of the Regulators MC he isolates himself from everyone around him. He doesn't trust easily, and has a darkness that surrounds him, but really he's a good guy.

This book has everything you want in a MC Romance/Romantic Suspense. There is drama, action, violence, and heat along with romance, intrigue and suspense. Something I didn't expect but quite enjoyed was the few laughs that I had whilst reading Paisley and Coal's story. As the content of this book is slightly darker, the moments of laughter balance that out.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tale of opposites attracting and recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of the MC romance genre. I know I will be keeping my eye out for future books by this pair of authors and also reading the previous titles in this series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Funny, crazy and gross... 7 March 2017

Quirky is definitely the theme through out this book. Who knew you could both laugh your ass off at the kooky heroine while being grossed out on how a killer named Cook kills his victims.

This was kinda a crazy book but it worked. We finally get Trever “Coal” Blakes story and see what made him into such a dark person who hasn't had a relationship since high school and only pays for sex. I've read some had a hard time seeing his woman being an aurora reading, clean living quirky vegan. I thought she was perfect for his moody self. Just what he needed to get his head out of his butt and realize even though he tries to pretend he is an emotionless alpha man he has a huge soft heart when it comes to women in distress and Paisley is unlike any woman he has met before.

Story was a tiny bit disjointed between the budding relationship, a killer the team has to track down and a stalker Paisley has picked up but easily over looked as I love the characters in this series. The ending made it seem like this was the last book and if it is I'm happy where all three couples were at the end.
