Product Description

What do ice cream and Sadie Montgomery have in common? They're both ice cold, but one taste is never enough.

I wanted to be friends — I would have even settled for her seeing me as anything but a nerd — but there was no getting through. So just like any hard-headed, red-blooded man out there, I made up my mind.

I’d make my coworker fall for me.

I’d like to say it was simple, but like every other epic love story, all it took was one drunken night and a lot of naked courage to get the girl. For a moment, at least.

Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie’s trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won’t leave her alone. But I’ve never been good at giving up, and I don’t plan to start now.

The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.

This is my first Meghan Quinn book but it won't be my last!
When Andrew moves to Binghampton to escape an 'incident' at his last college he's excited to start school but more so to begin his first paying job. Then he's introduced to Sadie, who's supposed to train him but really doesn't want to.
Sadie isn't looking for new friends nor does she want to like Andrew, he's sweet and quirky but she wants him at arms length not worming his way into her hardened heart.
These two remind me of my all time favourite bickering couple, Lois & Clark from Smallville. On the surface Andrew is nerdy (glasses and all) and Sadie has high emotional walls but neither is really what they seem. The struggle comes when Andrew puts all his cards on the table yet Sadie still holds back, how do they find common ground? All in Sadie's ex Tucker and things could go pear shaped fast.
Lucky we have a HEA but the journey to that end is filled with real struggles.
These characters were well written and totally believable, no short cuts here. And I adored Andrew and his dirty nerd mouth.
I would also love to read Tucker's story, that man needs a HEA too.

They say never judge a book by it's cover, that may be true but it is also becoming true that you should never judge a nerd by their exterior aswell.

Andrew is a self confessed nerd who has a love of computers, calculators, maths, movies with computers, oh & girls. But he's an out there kind of guy with his quirky loveable nature. It is hard not to smile when you think of him.

Sadie is a self confessed loner with trust issues. She has her close group of friends who know her secrets from her past & has no room nor time for any new friendships.

Andrew sees a sadness in Sadie's eyes & is determined to make her at least smile. From a mishap that lead to an accidental motorboat, to a drunken dance at a bon fire, to a truth with held & a misunderstanding, their story has it all. Hilarious highs & a heartbreaking loss or two, & a HEA in the end.

Meghan Quinn fans will not be disappointed, lovers of the rom com genre will not be disappointed either. Highly recommend

"Andrew’s a four-leaf clover in a field of weeds, a man you don’t want to slip through your fingers."

Meghan Quinn is my go to author and I feel her speciality is rom com's. This book is one of my favourites and Andrew is now one of my all time BBF's. He was intelligent, witty with a bit of douchery and a lot of quirky. He is just so damn adorkable!

Andrew has transferred to Binghamton University after "the ordeal" for his junior year. He is flummoxed as to why his new co-worker doesn't like him, everyone likes him because he has moves like Magic Mike! Even though Sadie found it witty, she still needs to keep her distance and stay within the group of friends that know her, that she grew up with. She doesn't need to rehash her life story again with someone new. Little does she know, that her friends have invited Andrew to a party where he slowly worms his way into her world. The most important thing in a relationship is honesty and trust. If you don't have that, is it a relationship or just having fun? Andrew thinks he is cognizant, but with all the secrets Sadie is keeping close to her sturdy tits, he is blind sighted when the truth is finally revealed.

There is no doubt in my mind that if you are a lover of rom com's, you are going to adore this book too. The banter between them is hilarious. Andrew has a very dirty mouth that makes you sizzle, and then his softer side is going to make you swoon. Sadie is lost at the beginning of the book, but I love that she finds herself again and is truly happy with her decisions. Well done Meghan, loved it!

This is the second book I have read by author Meghan Quinn. Co-Wrecker is the fun, light-hearted story of Andrew and Sadie.

Andrew has just transferred to Binghamton University to get away from his “ordeal” at his previous university. He is the witty, hot looking nerd and he is funny too. To keep himself busy and earn some money before school starts he decided to get a job at “Friendly’s” as a fountain boy and this is where he meets Sadie, his co-worker. Sadie’s character is quite moody and a bit standoffish. She has a close group of friends who we get to meet later in the story.

I like the author’s style of writing. Reading Andrew and Sadie’s banter throughout the whole book made me laugh, snort and giggle at some parts. Their first encounter especially reminds me of a Mr. Bean moment and ends up with Andrew giving Sadie the nickname Sturdy Tits.

All through the first half of the book we can see Sadie’s slowly thawing icy demeanour towards Andrew. How can she not fall for this cute nerd who looks like Ryan Reynolds with a mind like Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory and apparently is also well endowed. He is all that and more!

Not everything is hunky dory for our heroine, Sadie. Her being aloof and closed-in stems from a sad childhood and a recent tragic event which leads her into keeping a lot of secrets from her friends and family. Her ex-boyfriend Tucker is part of her close circle of friends and he still carries a torch for her albeit one that Sadie is dying to extinguish when she gets involved with Andrew.

But when the basis of a new relationship is founded in lies, will it last or will it crumble? She needs to fess up fast or she might lose him.
