I could not put it down. I was hooked from start to finish! Another amazing book from Nicole James.
The story starts off with a curiosity to both our hero and heroine. With Memphis being a nomad, never settling in one place for too long, or making any commitments. Then there’s Lola, the MC president’s daughter, who has a strained relationship with her family, and an equally complicated life all around. Both Memphis and Lola are missing something in their lives but not realizing it until fate puts them in each other’s lives that changes it all.
Memphis is an effortlessly likable character (and MC member). He has an air of alpha-ism in him but it’s never too in your face or full of dominance. Lola may be young but she’s had to handle a lot of shit in her life. She’s not at all bratty or immature, and despite the problems in her life, she still tries to give herself some positivity.
There might not have been initial explosions and fireworks but Memphis and Lola but there was always a constant flicker of heat and sparks between them that although their feelings developed rather quickly, it didn’t come off as unconvincing.
James has put a lot of substance into this MC romance, adding complexity to her lead characters and their lives. These characters are more than meets the eye and it gradually gets revealed the further the plot thickens.
There’s a lot of sorrow and heartbreak in this story that explains a lot of the characters’ personality traits and their actions to certain things, that you find yourself sympathizing with the entire situation. It’s a journey full of family, chaos, acceptance, love, and overall growth as a person. It’s a truly sweet story — and one I must admit is one of the sweeter stories I’ve read in an MC backdrop.
A relatively well paced storytelling told from multiple POVs (both mostly from Memphis and Lola’s perspectives). Although this is part of the RBMC world, it can be read as a standalone and I guarantee it’ll leave you sighing with happy contentment.
If you’re a fan of Nicole James’ writing style, and/or wanting to read more MC romances, than this is another book to add to your TBR. The chapters are short but action-packed with a smidge of suspense, and the entire book can easily be read in one sitting.

This was a really good story. Lola the club princess finds her one true love Memphis a nomad. Lots of exciting twists and turns. Sensual and erotic romance. Loved it.

It's been a long time since I've read anything by author Nicole James. She gave me a fun filled ride with these two, you have the princess of the club who's trouble with a capital T, Lola does what she wants, she's sassy, fierce and very independent but she managed to fall for the Nomad which was a big surprise. Memphis'soce affair with the open road is his way of coping from his past, he doesn't trust no one, he feels like the road won't let him down, but that sassy girl didn't give him a chance, he fell hard even when he was fighting with himself, but he finally realized Lola was his home, he's nothing without her. He stopped running just in the nick of time to save his forever, they mesh very well, both stubborn but belonged to each other.

Awesome book about Lola and MemphisReviewed in the United States on 13 December 2020
Loved this book by Nicole James. It was fun to see the shenanigans that Lola got up to when she discovered her brother stole her money she saved for down payment for the GTO that Darko a Royal Bastard had restored. Her father Club President Rock after tracking his daughter via her phone to New Orleans contacts one of the Nomads for Royal Bastards Memphis to bring her back home. He saves her from her brother and the goons after him due to stealing something and as they travel back to Colorado develop feelings for each other. To find out the rest of the story purchase it. It's a great read and worth it to purchase! It will be on my re-read list that is for sure!
Lola the Club Princess is on a ride that will change her life.Reviewed in the United States on 2 December 2020
I have read lots of MC books and have read all of Nicole James books and I can say this book is one of my favorites. Lola is the club princess lost in the memories of the past along with her dad club President and her brother. She runs off to find her brother without telling her dad. He tracks her to New Orleans and Rock calls in a favor to get her home. Memphis is a nomand for the Royal Bastards MC. He finds her and the magic happens this story is told mostly in Lola's voice with Memphis doing his part . Its two people falling in love and one of them has no clue if that can even happen. There is a lot more to this story. It is a amazing ride with the Royal Bastards.
Memphis and LolaReviewed in the United States on 10 December 2020
There are so many great moments in Memphis and Lola's story. I absolutely love them. Lola is a strong women, but underneath her strong exterior is a sadness that she hides, but Memphis see through her to her soft side. Memphis has had a rough life and my heart broke for him as he shared his story with Lola. I'm so happy for these two with the way their story turned out and can't wait to see more of them in the future.
