Great reference - even for us non-exercise professionalsReviewed in the United States on 30 September 2020
I am not an exercise specialist, but there is a lot here that I found very intersting and useful. It gives a lot of information on particular medical problems, suchs as high cholesterol, diabetes, and obesity) that has helped me understand these conditions. Good list of acryonyms in the front. The introduction and chapter 1 provide some basic information and motivation for everyone. Short chapters on just about any clinical disease type of injury or condition (e.g. Osteoporosis) are well written.
Perfect dinner table readingReviewed in the United States on 15 September 2020
The perfect dinner table reading for me. As a long time personal trainer I notice my clients getting older with more chronic ailments. To earn their trust and business, it’s a tremendous help to be able to pick up a conversation where their doctors left off and if possible be In touch with those doctors through the duration that work with those clients. It’s nice to have up to date information so cheap and available.
