Premesso che Federico Fellini non ha bisogno di presentazioni il film in questione è uno dei suoi cavalli di battaglia.
Tra il reale e il sogno il film ripercorre le vicende del caro Marcello Mastroianni in un mondo surreale.
Il reparto Audio ma sopratutto video la fanno da padroni regalandoci immagini di alta qualità rapportate all'anno della pellicola.
Come sempre Gaumont riesce a stupirci con questi recuperi video ad alto livello.
Ma noi italiani dobbiamo sempre farci soffiare il naso dalle case distributrici estere?

Questo è un film particolare di Fellini, ovviamente autobiografico come praticamente tutti i suoi film, qui probabilmente ci mostra anche ciò che forse avrebbe desiderato vivere o provare, è evidente che la critica di questo movimento femminista in realtà evidenzia l'assoluta centralità della donna nel suo cinema e nella sua vita, in ogni sua forma (o forme). Due contenuti extra sono in francese e due sono in italiano, gli appunti sul film sono fondamentali per comprendere appieno la metodologia di lavoro di Federico e l'incredibile maestria sua e dei suoi collaboratori, dal primo all'ultimo.
