I have really enjoyed this series. I have recently started reading young adult books with a book club just to see the market for the age group. These books have been a pleasant surprise I have read 4 of the 6 and have had to stop just to make them last.
The story lines are interesting ,the mash up of vampires, werewolves and the shadowhunters along with the parallel world has been unique.
The characters have not been to" teenish'' , I actually still like them in book 4, which is saying something for that many books.
