Product Description

Quincy Ryan was just handed custody of a son he didn’t know existed. He knows how to be an architect, not a dad, so he looks to his own father for guidance, but that means moving with Pops to Marietta, Montana. Quincy knows he has to get over his shock and give Atlas the Christmas he deserves, but how? He needs a miracle.

Nicki Darren, failed actress, will take any job as Christmas approaches, even babysitting for a withdrawn, workaholic, single father. She lost her mom as a child, too, and hasn’t had a real Christmas since, so she identifies with four-year-old Atlas.

An advent calendar of activities soon has Nicki pulling Quincy out of the house to get a tree and ice skate with his son. She wants Quincy to open his heart to Atlas, but begins to fall for the Ryan men herself. It makes the countdown to her last day, Christmas Eve, bittersweet. If only the miracle he is looking for included her…

His Christmas Miracle is another winner from Dani Collins. This gentle Christmas story is about hope, happiness and healing for all the protagonists.
I empathised with Nicki from the moment I met her. Despite not achieving the success she'd hoped for as an actress, this girl has guts and perseverance and she cares about people.
Quincy took a little longer to get under my skin. He is an insular soul and socially gauche to the point that I wondered for a bit whether he was autistic. As I got to know Quincy I came to understand and care about him.
Lesser characters play an important role in this story. Quincy's father Maury loves his son and grandson fiercely and it shows.
I loved the plot, in which Nicki works hard to provide a memorable Christmas for a sad little boy, in the process helping Quincy to bond with his son while at the same time her own somewhat battered self-esteem is patched up as this little family grows into a tight knit unit.
This story really moved me. I suspect it may have been a hard one to write, however I think Dani Collins succeeded well.

4.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 stars - Beautiful, swoony goodness! 22 December 2016

Dani Collins has done it again. Another beautiful and heartfelt story under her belt. I've read several and have yet to come across a story that didn't tug at my heart strings and get my eyes all misted up before it was over.

Just in time for Christmas, this one features a newly minted father to a son he didn't know about and a quirky young woman looking for a place to belong. On top of loving a surprise baby story "His Christmas Miracle" had another thing I love in books. A closed off and gruff hero with a heart of absolute gold. Quincy was fabulous! At first he came across as a dick but there's wonderful layers to him that get peeled away the longer heroine Nicki is around. The idea of Nicki blowing in with her charm and holiday spirit to help this new father bond with his adorable son Atlas was very endearing.

4 year old Atlas stole the show in EVERY scene with his precious speech impediment that was spelled out exactly how it sounded. To me, there's just something so freaking adorable about kids who can't say their hard "R" words. It just makes me want to squeeze the crap out of these sweet beings and that feeling was brought to the forefront for me during my reading experience. Watching Nicki bond with the little boy, especially with all he was dealing with, just melted my stone cold heart. The romance between Nicki and Quincy was a slow simmer and wasn't really the main focus in terms of intimacy because their friendship took a while to develop but it was so well done and emotionally gripping as is this author's trademark.

If you want a story that will make you smile, laugh, swoon and say "Awww" then not only will "His Christmas Miracle" do the job but any of Collins' Marietta Montana romance books will also.

I enjoyed Blame The Mistletoe so much I bought this right after as I needed more Love in Montana. This story is filled with love, angst, fears and unrequited love you will want to read until the end. Oh and there is a twist that will have you shaking your head in disbelief too.

These are the first two stories I have read by Dani Collins but not my last. Looking forward to reading more~

5.0 out of 5 stars A Miracle of Love...Review by Christine [...] 2 December 2016

"His Christmas Miracle" Love In Montana #5 is written by author Dani Collins.
Published: October 27,2016
My Rating: 5 Stars

Dani Collins is so talented when it comes to heartwarming romance. "His Christmas Miracle" is sigh worthy. I hated the times life got in the way and I had to put my Kindle down. This book had all the "feels" I look for in the perfect romance. Not all of my five star rated have all the important emotions that make the story perfect to me. But this one did. It absolutely pulled at my heartstrings. Plus it had something extra that endeared it to me that much more. It was a Christmas theme.

There are two main characters; Quincy and Nikki. There are also two very important secondary characters, that without them I don't know if I would have loved this book a much; Atlas and Maury.

Quincy Ryan recently finds out he has a four year old son named Atlas. Atlas's mother died in an accident and Quincy was notified. To say he was distraught is an understatement. How could he have a son and never be told of his existence? Quincy is clueless. He does not know how to be a father. In fact, he never planned to have children. Quincy moves from Pennsylvania with his aging, diabetic father and Atlas. He hopes the slower pace of life will help with raising his son. A son who unfortunately is a stranger. Quincy had loving parents however he was constantly made fun of during his younger school years. He had a speech impediment and his peers were relentless in their ridicule. That caused him to grow up closed off from the world. He didn't like crowds and he was less than social. He was used to be alone and closed off. So when his life is turned upside down, unexpectedly, he is more than a little dismayed. Quincy will hire a caretaker/nanny/housekeeper to help with his father and Atlas. He didn't know what else to do. Especially since Atlas was having some issues with speech articulation.

Nikki Darren is on her way back to Montana for a fresh start. After failing in obtaining an acting career, she goes back to school. Nikki decided she wanted to be a caregiver to the elderly. But answers Quincy's add to at least make some money over the holidays. The job is only temporary but she needs it all the same.

Nikki and Quincy are complete opposites despite their growing attraction toward each other. Where Quincy is quiet, unsocial and closed off, Nikki is loud with a bubbly personality and very social. Fortunately their differences balance each other.

I absolutely adored Atlas! What a cutie! He was adorable. At only four years old, he was trying to adjust to his new life. A life without his mother. And a new life in a new town with his father and grandfather. Nikki also became a very important aspect of Atlas's life. Atlas was truly a main focus of this story. I found myself invested in not only an HEA for Quincy and Nikki, but for Atlas as well. Nikki was a great character and through her patience and kindness, she was elemental in helping Atlas adjust to his new life. As well as Quincy.

The romance between Quincy and Nikki was very slow. Instead of being frustrated by that, I found it perfectly appropriate given what they were feeling; their very realistic reservations. Their growing love was believable. It was so sweet and when they finally decided they wanted a future together, I cried tears of joy. Literally I did. Atlas and Maury loved Nikki just as much as Quincy. They became the perfect family. The epilogue was precious.

I am so glad I got to read this book. Especially during this time of year. "His Christmas Miracle" was definitely that, a miracle of love and healing with a beautiful happily ever after.
