I have read a few of Daisy’s books now and those I have read, I have thoroughly enjoyed. I particularly enjoy ‘The Cornish Confetti Agency’ series. I have been waiting (im)patiently for the next instalment. Well ladies and gents the wait is over as ‘Christmas At The Cornish Confetti Agency’ is now available as an e-book. I couldn’t put this book down and I thoroughly enjoyed ‘Christmas At The Cornish Confetti Agency’ but more about that in a bit.
It didn’t take me long to get into this story. In fact the synopsis was enough to grab my attention and draw me in. From then on, I just couldn’t put the book down. It wasn’t exactly glued to my hand but it might as well have been because it travelled everywhere with me. I couldn’t bear to miss a second of this delightful read. I was so wrapped up in the story that I lost all track of time and just how quickly I was reading and getting through the story. I was staggered to realise that I had read over half of the book in one long reading binge. The book isn’t particularly long so I did get through it pretty quickly. By the time I got to the end of ‘Christmas At The Cornish Confetti Agency’, I was already looking forward to the next book in the series.
‘Christmas At The Cornish Confetti Agency’ is well written. Reading one of Daisy’s books feels more like chatting with a friend than actually reading a book. I hope that makes sense. Daisy has one of those warm writing styles that is easy to get along with and easy to get used to. Daisy also has the knack of making the reader feel as though they are part of the story themselves. That’s how I felt at any rate. This was one of those books that made me smile, made me chuckle and left me feeling as though I had just go a ‘hug from a mug’ in the sense that I felt all warm and fuzzy inside.
In short, I really enjoyed reading ‘Christmas At The Cornish Confetti Agency’ and I would definitely recommend it to other readers. I will certainly be reading more of Daisy’s work in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 4* out of 5*.

Another delightful cozy holiday read by a lovely and entertaining author. This is book 3 of the 5 (so far) Cornish Confetti Agency series, but of course it ca be read as a stand alone. Lexie has been filling in at The Cornish Confetti Agency while the owner is overseas, planning and coordinating the perfect weddings for new brides. Although her time at the Agency is almost through she has one last event to organize, a catwalk show for her friend’s wedding shop.
