Product Description

After grieving the loss of her husband and son, TV host Morgan Marshall is ready to embrace life again. But she won’t risk a relationship with the father of her favorite cooking student, Avery, since the girl’s happiness is more important than her own.

Advertising executive Alex Blake never thought another woman could pique his interest after losing his wife to pneumonia, a complication of her cancer. Yet every time he’s in Morgan’s presence, she brings sunlight into the room. Plus, she’s a role model for his daughter, always assuring Avery that dyslexia can’t hold her back. But if he asks Morgan for a date and then she refuses a second one, the person he loves the most, Avery, could get hurt the worst because she adores Morgan.

When Alex is injured in a fall, Morgan insists on caring for him and Avery. As they share holiday fun, Avery topples Morgan’s beloved crystal bell collection, shattering it to pieces. Through it all, they discover love of one another is more priceless than any object money can buy. Love rings in the air at Christmastime.

5.0 out of 5 stars A True Magical Joy! 17 December 2016

On a whim, I purchased this title. Linda Joyce has been a friend for many years, even before she was an author. Yet, this is the first book of hers I have read! The entire book is magical. The story line is genuine, the characters full, real and hones, people you would be happy to have for friends. The flow is excellent. One of those books you could read again and again. Ms Joyce is an excellent story-teller. She knows when to begin, how much to say and when to end. The reader feels intimate with the story while full and complete as it closes. Great treat. Highly recommend. And although based at Christmas, it would be just as enjoyably in July!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet family romance 5 December 2016

Christmas Bells is a sweet story off second chances for a happy family ever after. When a widow who lost both her young son and husband in a car accident gets to know a little girl who's mother died a year and a half ago, she falls in love with the bright little girl. The dad is such a supportive and loving father that she can't fail to find affectionate feelings for him as well. I loved how she kept asking for a sign that she should pursue him, and kept hearing the Hallelujah Chorus! An act of kindness results in an emergency room visit for the dad. Fortunately it isn't a more serious injury, but it is enough for him not to be able to return to his two story home and be able to navigate the stairs. Unable to care for himself or his daughter, he accepts the kind invitation of the widow to recuperate at her ranch style home. From there the friendship grows.

In this sweet holiday story, author Linda Joyce has shared the importance of family and love especially at the holiday season. It is a book that will leave you smiling and humming the Hallelujah Chorus long after the last page is read. Thanks for the special holiday gift, Linda!

Morgan is a widow who lost her husband and son in a car accident a few years ago. She has her own kids cooking show and is friends with Alex, a widower and, his daughter Avery. The holidays are coming soon again but, this year, Morgan finally feels like she can start back decorating and celebrating again. She helps Alex with Avery one day and he injures himself at her house. While moving him and Avery in so she can take care of him, Morgan and Alex start to quickly realize that their feelings are much more than friendly. It would seem that Avery realizes it sooner.
This is a joyful story about moving past tragedy, living with disabilities and learning to make the best of what life gives you.
