About the Author

Dr Jim Byrne is a doctor of counselling who is dedicated to producing high quality books to help individuals to create better lives for themselves. For more than fifteen years he has helped hundreds of clients to improve the quality of their lives, by teaching them how to manage their thinking, feeling and behaviour. Dr Byrne originally trained as a Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapist; and then completed a post-masters diploma in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy. Then he studied for six years at the University of Mancester, UK, for his doctorate in counselling. From the age of 32 years, he has been exploring and applying a range of philosophies and psychologies to his own life, in order to produce greater health, happiness, and effective relationships at home and at work. He has shared many of those ideas with the world, in his books on counselling, happiness, anxiety, and stress management.
