Fate is not always who or what you want or need it to be.
I love this author, I really do and these short quick reads are enjoyable but not quite as good as her longer stories are. Saying that, this is a good short story that gives us another group of dragons to love but these ones are not meant to have mates.
I hate the family deaths, especially JJ, Laurels brother, as he seemed really nice.
The way Fate interferes with the Stone Dragons lives was pretty awful, truth be told but I can see to a small extent why it happens that way. I just didn’t particularly like it. Tearing mates away from mates and replacing them with someone else, not something I was happy with.
Cannot wait to read the next book and see which brother is going to get his life and mate back.
What will happen to the Randolph pack?
Read through Kindle Unlimited.

Wow Julia outdid herself. Full of action and love a great book for a quick read. Julia gives you a story and background in a delightful and exciting way.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. I would have read it anyway.

I absolutely love Julia Mills Dragon books, and this one is no exception. After a really horrendously sad accident, Lauren believes that Duncan is dead, and 15 years on is still in love with her true fated mate. No-one else has ever come close for her to think otherwise. Duncan, it turns out, was whisked out of the Earth Realm and into Fate's realm to serve Mistress Fate, and keep the balance of good and evil in the Universe. Both cannot forget the other, and when danger threatens Lauren on Earth, Fate allows Duncan and his Stone Dragons of Fate brothers to intervene to save her. After a battle with hellhounds and their Mistress, Fate and the Stone Dragons succeed and peace is restored. Lauren and Duncan, after Fate explains the story, are reunited to start their happy ever after, be it 15 year's after it should have taken place. Definitely recommended reading and most certainly deserving of 5+ stars.

This is the first book in a new series called Dragon's of Fate and also a part of the Howls Romance series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish.
This story will have you laughing and cheering at the antics of the main characters and also the secondary characters in this book.
Well worth reading! I voluntarily reviewed this book and this review is my own opinion.

This story makes you laugh, cry, and cheer. Love any Dragon Guard story, but this one has a few twists that I am still not sure why they had to happen but love the HEA. Can’t wait for the rest of the Dragon’s of Fate to get their stories.
